South China International Hotel — Hotel in Dongguan

Dongcheng International Hotel is pretty much brand new and was the perfect place to stay while on a quick trip to Dongguan. Centrally located in what I believe to be the "foreigner" part of town, I could walk to everything I wanted to and return to my comfortable room.||||It has both an indoor and outdoor pool (the later of which was closed in "winter") and a great outdoor area for chilling anytime of the year. The room was clean, comfortable, and new, so it fit the bill, which was reasonable for both the quality and location.||||I would easily plan a return visit to Dongguan, and when I do, wouldn't hesitate on staying at the Dongcheng, a perfect hotel...

Beautiful new hotel. Gorgeous lobby, new spacious rooms and excellent service. Check in was professional and smooth, 6 elevators, clean hallways and a beautiful room. Easy to operate temperature controls and a nice view of the city from my 23rd floor room. Most everyone speaks English, even housekeeping. Breakfast buffet was stunning and restaurant service was top notch. Laundry rates are reasonable. Nice exercise room. 700 RMB per night...

Best hotel in the area. Great location. Close to any place in the area. Close to the computer centre, to wanda mall, 5 minutes walk from bar street. Great western restaurants in the area. The breakfast at the hotel is just perfect. The service is kind. The rooms are a little outdated but I can give one tip. Book the Japanese or duplex room. They are bigger rooms...
