This restaurant has very terrible service and probably reflects the same as the the hotel. Alot of locals reccomended this restaurant, but this place is terrible. After waiting 10 minutes for a seat in a half empty restaurant, and waiting another ten minutes to have our table cleaned from the previous party, the waitress took our order. She reccomended the buddha jumps over the wall soup, but we didn't want it. But she insisted if we didn't order the damn "buddha jumps over the wall" that we could not eat at there restaurant. They told us to go to the second floor which was a buffet style restaurant. FYI, the buddha soup per person is 388 rmb, so this is a complete ripoff in first place. We told them this was ridiculous and she said other people were waiting for the seat, but again the restaurant was half empty. She then told us it was fine and we sat down but the waitress came back saying we will order at least one bowl of buddha jumps over the wall. So we left, obviously buddha would burn this place to the ground if he realized what terrible people run this place. And the manager that night (2011-11-01) should be fired, really rude. This was our first time in Fuzhou, and this gave me and my clients a very bad impression of this city.... If you have money to waste and want bad...

It is also walking distance to SanFangQiXiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) a popular heritage site for tourists to visit. Location is extremely central and convenient. ||||The hotel has undergone renovation just last year, so all the facilities are new and in excellent condition. Beds are springy, showerhead and toilet bowl are clean. Service via housekeeping is excellent, with fruit basket and complimentary water provided daily, no tipping required. I stayed on Level 7.||||I would also like to compliment one of the staff, Mr Lai 赖延闰先生, for helping out with moneychanging for me at the nearby bank. He was extremely helpful going with us to the bank and helping out with the procedures. ||||If you are a tourist do change enough money before going to Fuzhou as moneychangers are not readily available in the malls. You will need to change money at a bank. The problem comes when the banks require residential tax information, which is not...
Read moreBooked 2 Family Rooms for 3 nights. Supposed to be on the 10 floor but was “upgraded” to 11 floor which has 4 rooms on that level. Rooms are new but just have to climb up 1 level by staircase. Bed are very comfortable. Daily fruits delivered to room (2 days apples with tomatoes and 1 day banana). No topping up of tea packs even though there is a tea set on the side table for u to make your tea. Location is excellent to nearby shopping areas. Next to underground metro and plenty of eateries under the link way. Tried the Buddha jump over the wall at level 3 restaurant which supposed to be the main creator for this dish. A bit pricey for the bigger 1 person portion (yuan 700plus) but worth a try. Other dishes was quite ordinary to me but it also depend on...
