Guangzhou Jinying Hotel — Hotel in Guangzhou City

The hotel is near a busy area with a Metro station just next to it. The rooms are clean but carpet has a faint smell that is not very agreeable. You can see some hardware in the bathroom nearing their end-of-life.||||They provide a refilled drinking water instead of a bottled water, quiet rare in our days. The room has safe but operating it is not easy even following the printed instructions. ||||My room was on the 23rd floor and it not as wide as you think for a room with twin beds inside.||||Upon check out the receptionist claimed that there is a missing towel and that we need to pay for it. We tried to explain, though communication is a huge barrier with almost no one speaking English, that it wasn't there in the first place. No one listened!! Such a low standard for such an establishment. Maybe that is why they demand for a 300RMB deposit when you check-in. ||||Guangzhou is a city with so many hotels, why bother staying...

I stayed two times in this hotel during the same trip. First stay was in room 2111 and I decided to check out the following day as the room was small, with quite old furniture. I was on a business trip and I wanted a good internet, which I did not find using the room WiFi. It is very slow.||My second stay was in room 2613, in a deluxe room. It was much bigger, and cleaner. Furniture much better. Even when you go out from the elevator, you feel you are in another better hotel. The only problem that I faced is the internet problem. WiFi was very bad, and 4G was fair due to the height of the room in the 26th floor.||The most advantage of the hotel is that it is located in the middle of the "Halal" area.
