• Located in Tianhe District – fairly convenient spot • Estimated driving time to popular areas: • Tianhe City / Beijing Road: 10–20 minutes (depending on traffic) • Walking to Shahe Metro Station takes about 12–15 minutes ⚠️ Many online reviews say 8 minutes, but realistically for those who don’t exercise regularly (especially in hot weather), it feels much farther • There’s a large wholesale market near Shahe Metro Station – great for fashion shopping
Room Experience • Rooms are spacious: ✅ Can easily open 3 large suitcases ✅ Clean and well-maintained • Comfortable and practical for travelers
Service Quality • Service is mixed • 👍 One helpful staff member helped us order local wanton noodles since our overseas mobile number couldn’t register on food apps • 👍 The night shift female receptionist was also friendly • 👎 Some staff were less helpful and not very efficient
Dining Experience • We booked a room with breakfast • Breakfast was average – typical variety, nothing special • Dinner at the hotel restaurant was confusing and slow: • Only 2 tables occupied that night • Yet, dishes came out very slowly – around 15 minutes between each dish • Rice was only served after the second dish – by the time all food arrived, my child had already finished the rice We couldn’t understand why service was so slow with so few customers
Surroundings • Not much to explore around the hotel itself • Limited shops or malls nearby • Recommend taking a car to go to Beijing Road, Shangxiajiu Street,...
Read moreHotel Review: A Seamless Stay with Exceptional ServiceI recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the check-in process was quick and efficient, setting the tone for a hassle-free stay. The lobby was welcoming, and the overall ambiance was calm and professional—perfect for a business traveler. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive, making it easy to relax and focus on work. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which is always a plus when you're on a tight schedule. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by Lena at the reception. I had an urgent need for a laptop charger, and Lena went above and beyond to help me. She quickly suggested ordering one through a quick-commerce website and even assisted me with the process. Her proactive approach and willingness to help made a huge difference in my stay. Thanks to her, I was able to continue my work without any interruptions.Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of clean, comfortable accommodations and outstanding service—especially from Lena—made my business trip smooth and productive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for work or leisure. I will definitely stay here again on...
Read moreStayed here for a short layover but still wouldn’t recommend it. This hotel is quite hard to find. The address on Google doesn’t work for taxi drivers to navigate and it’s situated on a Main Street across from a highway.
The lobby was quite grand for a garden inn and while the rooms are pretty standard, do NOT stay here if you don’t like second hand smoke. It’s freaking 2023 and hotels in China still allow smoking in the rooms? I was told that the 9th floor is a smoking floor so the receptionist gave me the 8th floor. But once the elevator doors opened up, all I could smell was smoke. There was even a cigarette bin in front of the elevators and somehow the 8th floor is non smoking?!?! The room wasn’t as bad but I still smelled some lingering cigarette smells. I’m sorry but China should wake up from allowing smoking in hotels at this time and age. This is an international brand for goodness sake. Although your current guests are mainly locals, your returning guests are usually Hilton elite members who stay due to loyalty. Had I known they allowed smoking, I would NOT have booked it because not everyone enjoys 2nd hand smoke. The lack of English speakers here is also a problem. I thought I was at a local hotel...
