Holiday Villa Hotel & Residence Guangzhou — Hotel in Guangzhou City

I was put in this hotel by China Southern Airlines when their flight from Shanghai missed the connection to their for flight to Melbourne.||What a disgusting, filthy place. Reception staff rude and shouted at me when I refused to share a room with another passenger.||Rooms are dirty mould, paint peeling off the ceiling. There was a puddle of milk on the floor..........not sure where it came from as there is no mini bar or coffee making facilities.....guess it was from a previous occupant.||||Photos do lie!!!!!!! Don't take any notice of the photos on their website!||||They offered us refreshments which consisted of a stale bread roll and a small apple juice.||||Next morning the coach arrived at 6am to take us to the airport, it was full of Mosquitos !!!!!||||Terrible experience don't stay there unless you are very, very...

Wow the reviewers we're not lying about the outdated rooms. I at least saw 3 dead roaches on my way to the room. Park of the wall on the lower part fell off in the lobby when the edge of the luggage hit it. The curtains that not only don't go with the room are stained and falling down. The room had a weird smell to it. I was afraid to check under the bed. The bed was like sleeping on top of a wooden box. At least the bathroom and sheets seemed clean. This hotel is in dire need of a remodel or a new interior designer to come and help them out. It was a good size room with a lot of potential for improvement. I would like to visit again but please make an effort to make the place more clean...
