Soluxe Hotel Guangzhou — Hotel in Guangzhou City

During our trip to canton fair (april 2025) we stayed at the Soluxe hotel. We had a very nice experience, Young helped us excellent with our booking and pick up/drop off service from and to the airport. We have found all staff very friendly and trying to assist in any way. House keeping was excellent, swim clothes i put on the bath tub to dry, hung to dry on hangers when i returned to the room later on the day. Brought some laundry in the morning, when i returned to our room at 1600 it was allready back in the wardrobe. If my rating would be staff only it would be a 5+stars the only reason it is not a 5 star is because the hotel can use some new flooring in the rooms and Solux café, like the pool there are a few things that can use a updated. |Even so i probebly will stay here next time we are in guangzhou...

I’ve never been in a worst hotel ever. We switched rooms because my brother and I both got a bad rash (we can’t confirm it was the hotels fault but we suspect it was), our A/C hasn’t been working for 2 days after calling front desk several times reporting the issue they sent us a fan to our room. They said they would fix it but never did. Instead of giving us a room with the A/C working sending us a fan was their best answer to us. Staff were nice and breakfast was good. They had transportation for the Canton Fair as well. But overall for the $300/night we pay was not what we expected. It is unbelievable we don’t have an A/C working on a supposedly 5 star hotel especially when you are here working and can’t even get a good sleep. I Would not recommend this hotel to anybody especially...
