The room we were allocated on the top floor was very attractive but had large areas of mould on the wall between the bathroom and bedroom. When we complained, after a bit of a fuss we were given another room on the same floor, which was fine, with attractive furnishings. Outside, in the corridor, were eight huge noisy dehumidifiers - apparently there had been either a flood or a leak. My husband unplugged them at night - it would have been impossible to sleep otherwise. The room is clean and unusual in having a clear glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom. There was also a supply of condoms at the bedside?!? The breakfast was not suitable for European tastes. Even our Malaysian Tour Guide was disappointed with the standard of food on offer. All the hot food in the servery was cold too.
