Yangshuo New Century — Hotel in Guilin

My wife and I stayed in the " New Century Hotel " hotel in Yangshuo for 2 nights.||Location: The hotel is located in 5-10 walking distance from the main pedestrian street||Room: The room was a bit old but was equipped with all the required/expected amenities. The room was clean and being taken care every day. The water was always hot and air-condition worked well. ||Service: The staff provided us with good service in English (not all delegates new English). The in-house massage shop wasn't the best one can have.||Food: The reach breakfast had mainly variety of chines options with very few & western options which we found challenging. ||Wi-Fi: Good Wi-Fi reception but connection to site outside China was an issue...

According to our travel agent this is a four star hotel, but we had better hotels on our 2 week holiday in China. We could not close the windows. The room looked smudgy. I think they cleaned the room as good as possible but it needs new paint on the walls, new furniture, new carpet and new towels. We did get use to all white soft towels in all the hotels in China we stayed, but unfortunately they did not have it here. Shower was good but some extra light in the bathroom would be nice.
