Wushanyi International Youth Hostel — Hotel in Hangzhou City

The power went out at our first hostel and I think this is a partner of the hostel we were staying at as they were quick to accomodate us and welcome us to our room. The hostel is warm and inviting and our room was quite large and comfortable. We liked how the sink, toilet and shower areas were all separate and we still had lots of room to move around. The bed was large and comfy and the rooms were at a nice warm temperature during our stay in December. The lobby area is a pretty cool spot to hang out and the hostel is in a good location in the Hefang Street area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. ||To get here you can enter in Wushanyi International Youth Hostel in Didi and the closest metro station is Ding'An. We stayed 1 night in a private room which looked comparable to rooms in a basic hotel, equipped with air conditioner, a desk and TV. Small towels, toilet paper and hair dryer were available in the ensuite western style bathroom. The private room and bathroom were clean, but the shared toilets on the second floor smelled strange. On the ground floor there is a big vintage style common area, where you find informations about sights and transport. You can order food and drinks and they sell some souvenirs. At 12 pm we had to leave, because the light was shut off and one of the staff members slept there. It was a bit sad to immediately stop chatting with another traveler. Stayed here for 6 nights with 3 friends the rooms are clean and spacious , the staff are great very helpful and friendly and will go above and beyond to help you they serve food from 8am-7pm and it's very reasonably priced they have a lounge bar area that sells local and imported beers and soda's & snacks , plenty of books to read and board & card games to play very nice atmosphere they do clothes washing and drying for a small fee , the wifi is super fast and is reachable throughout the whole hostel the facilities like showers and toilets are very good and clean not a bad word to say we very much enjoyed our stay here , highly recommend will defiantly be coming back if I'm ever in...
