Stayed only one night at weekend and found the location quite pleasant, though quite a long 30 minutes walk from railway station. The long awaited subway system of Hangzhou is not ready yet, so best bet is either taxi or bus. Beware that taxi services are quite mediocre and there are sleazy drivers happy to drive the long route and over-charge tourists. The hotel is otherwise in a pedestrian area away from the busy XiHu highway so quite a bit quieter than other hotels by busy roads. Service is prompt but basic so please do not expect too much from this 2* chain hotel. But it is quite new and trouble free and serves breakfast which I did not try because there are so many nice eating places a short stroll away.||||Rooms are small but OK for two people on short stay and not good for travellers with lots of luggage. Kettle and wired internet available in room and there is small LCD TV too. Bathroom is cramp with typical basic amenities for hotel of this class. Everything works well in the room and it was not smoky, unlike most 2-3* rooms in China. Despite leaving window open all night, there is little noice from the pedestrian street outside so I will be happy to stay here again. Still basic but bottles of water every day, decent shower, not too hard beds. Actually slept pretty well. ||||Hotel is about a 5-10 ride from the train station. Get a taxi if you can. Zhonghshan Road is quite a cute road. There are major roadworks nearby but never heard it from room.||||Free wifi available in the lobby area.
