The hotel is great in terms of proximity to the market as it is literally right next door. But being an international hotel, don't expect the employees to know much english if that's your primary language. ||Wifi is amazing though so you can try to use a translator lol. There's a router in every room and it works seamlessly. Don't forget to download a VPN if you wish to access Facebook & other restricted apps.||Now the downside..|The buffet lacks variety and flavour (keeping in mind that there is a diff between salt & herbs). A lot of their dishes are becoming Westernized; something to note if you are seeking more local cuisine. And they say that it starts at 7am but what they really mean is that they start cooking at that time!||Now, China and smog go hand-in-hand. During the day, the hotel cuts back on using the A/C and the housekeepers leave open the windows to let air circulate, thus allowing it to enter into the room. In addition, this hotel also allows smoking, as I have witnessed guests lighting up in the lobby and the restaurant. That being said, both forms of air pollution contribute to the subtle smokey scent that lingers throughout the hotel.||Another guest informed us that he was almost charged for a stain on a towel that the maids couldn't get rid of. So to avoid this dilemma, keep them clean.| |Last but not least, on the 3rd day of our stay, the sink started to back up for whatever reason. We were leaving the next morning so didn't bother to complain.||In a nutshell..|Pros: Wireless internet & location to the trade market.||Cons: Smokey scent (allows smoking in the hotel even though there are signs saying not to), employees barely understand english, they charge extra at any...
Read more📍 Prime LocationThe hotel is located right between District 2 and District 3 of the Yiwu International Trade City — you can literally walk across the street to get to either side. Perfect for sourcing trips or attending trade fairs. That said, there aren’t many eateries around the hotel, so meals might require delivery or a short ride out.---🛏 Rooms & ComfortMy room was very spacious and clean, much more generous in size than I expected. The smart controls were a nice modern touch, and the bed was comfortable with good linens.A really thoughtful detail? They provide a foot soak tub right in the room. And after spending hours walking through the massive trade center, I totally understood why. Your feet will thank you. However, do note that around 5pm, the noise from car horns outside gets pretty loud, especially if your room faces the street. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room on a higher floor or bring earplugs.---🍽 Amenities & ExtrasBreakfast was simple but decent. Just be prepared to look elsewhere for meals, as the hotel area is quiet food-wise.---👥 ServiceThe staff were polite and helpful, even if English was limited for some. They were always quick to assist and made the stay feel smooth and pleasant.---✅ Final ThoughtsWhile it’s not surrounded by restaurants and the traffic noise can be noticeable at rush hour, Heng Na International Hotel is an excellent base for business travelers. The location between District 2 and 3 is unbeatable, the rooms are spacious and clean, and small touches like the foot soak tub show they understand exactly what guests need after a long day in Yiwu’s massive...
Read moreThis is our first time in Yiwu city. We chose this hotel for its perfect location. The receptionists were not friendly (not smiling) but aside from that they were fine. Check-in and check-out were fast. Rooms were clean and spacious. There's a mini convenient store at the back of the hotel. I find this hotel quite comfortable to relax at night after a whole day of hectic schedule. ||||One weird thing, the bathroom lacks privacy. It has glass wall with blinds but you'd still see a little something of the inside. It'd get awkward to stay in a room with friends. Though I'm not sure if its the same for all rooms. ||||Complimentary breakfast was okay. It has porridge, bread, rice, noodles and other stuffs. There's almost something for everyone. ||||Since there're not much restaurants to visit at nighttime in this area, there're 2 restaurants inside the hotel-- the western restaurant and the Chinese restaurant. The western restaurant offers buffet. Your order 1 steak/pizza and you have a buffet of salad, fruits, chicken pops and pastries. But the steak is very bad!||The Chinese restaurant, on the other hand, is much better. Price's a bit high. Servers were friendly but inattentive. Food was nice. No need to worry about speaking in Chinese because they've got pictures of every dish they have.||||Overall, I'd stay in this hotel again if I were to visit...
