KASION HOTEL — Hotel in Lijiang City

This is the best hotel I ever spent nights at, please allow me to share my impression.Moving past the basic qualities of good hotels such as cleanliness, breakfast, non-smoking, and price, none of which that this hotel short of. My first impression of this hotel was for its prime location. Positioned at the 10 minutes walking distance to the two most popular attraction in Lijiang: the ancient city and the black dragon pool, and surrounded by a lot of late-night opening restaurants and convenient stores, there can only be a few hotels which can achieve this by the laws of geometry. The moment that I walked in, I was amazed by the majestic decoration that made all the available automation seemed more like magic to me, including the service robot, the automatic doors and in-room toilet faucet. This made me felt like I was a visitor at a chinese magical school, or Hogwart of China. The employee's eagerness to provide you with the best service is beyond commendation. From the first day to the last day, these were the list of events that I can remember: 1) the receptionists welcomed us with a glass of hot tea which soothe the cold from the late night travel, 2) welcome complimentary by the service robot at the door room, 3) on the second day, we had to woke up super early for the jade dragon mountain trip, the receptions were so considerate to offer pocket meals for us so that we could eat along the way. 4) on the rainny day, we could borrow umbrellas. 5) at the day of checking out, they provided us a small departure gift. We booked for 7 nights are this hotel, after searching and reviewing other accommodation options available in Lijiang. We choose this hotel due to the location - on the main road. And walking distance to Black Dragon Pool, Dayan Old Town and bus stops. The room is very cosy and comfortable, clean and spacious. All toiletries are provided. Love the big size double bed. Do take note that the toilet has no lock and the shower area although is separate with the toilet area, it's only divided by a glass panel. Thus, if you are travelling with friends, this might not be convenient. The hotel is strategically located with walking distance to Dayan Old Town and the public bus stops is just a few steps out of the hotel. There are a lot of eatery around the hotel. Very convenient to take the tourist bus or public pub to places of interest. The roof top has a fantastic viewing platform to see Yulong Snow Mountain and you can see the sunrise from here. The breakfast is fantastic too. There's a lot of variety and we didn't get bored for the 7 days breakfast we had in the hotel. The hotel also provided daily yogurt and flower cakes, which you can request from the reception counter and the robot will deliver to your room. There's also free drinks at the receptionist counter. Awesome hotel with great service. Located near the ancient town (大水车）, about 10-15 minutes walk and located near Black dragon pool, about 15-20 minutes walk. Great breakfast with wide variety. Would like to thanks all the front counter staffs (especially to the names in the attached image), they are friendly and helpful. There is an incident when my daughter left her things in the Didi car, the hotel staff assisted to contact the Didi driver to have my daughter’s stuff returned to the hotel.
