南京万达希尔顿酒店 — Hotel in Nanjing City

I stayed at the Hilton Nanjing with my family for 4 nights in early December 2024. The room, especially the bathroom, was very large, with well-furnished and extremely comfortable beds. The hotel was close to 集庆门大街 metro station, which made travel to key tourist sites located in the city centre convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it very comfortable. | |My family and I also found the staff especially helpful in meeting all our needs and requests. We are particularly impressed that the concierge staff helped us make reservations at some of the local restaurants when we could not do so with WeChat (we did not have a Chinese phone number). The help of the concierge staff in booking key restaurants made our trip to Nanjing very enjoyable, especially as we enjoy eating good local food in places we visit. ||I will highly recommend the hotel, for the outstanding quality of the rooms, the professional service of the staff and the convenience of the location. I arrived Nov. 24th for an one night stay at Hilton Nanjing booked through the Hilton own website. With delays I got to the hotel around 10pm, the front desk clerk Zhang Li Jiang received me. I told her I am departing next morning and asked if there are any room upgrade opportunity to my Hilton Gold membership status. No she said, and no I can't use the lounge. No there won't be breakfast option - according to her it is not for Gold members. Then she impatiently wanted to move me on when nobody else was checking in at that time.||||Fine if there aren't any upgrades, but I thought I could choose MyWay breakfast option as a Gold member.||||How she looked down on loyal members with Gold status is embarrassing. I could only choose to go and stay at another hotel for the night.||||As a hotel service staff, basic respect is a must, if there wasn't any interest to give loyal members as special treatments. Das Hilton Nanjing befindet sich gute 20 Minuten Fahrzeit von der Nanjing South Railway Station mit dem Taxi entfernt. Zum internationalen Flughafen sind mit dem Taxi hingegen gute 45 - 60 Minuten je nach Tageszeit.||||Das Hotel liegt aktuell an einer Riesenbaustelle da die Hauptverkehrsstraße vor dem Hotel umgebaut o.ä. wird. Jedoch hört man im Hotel (hatte mein Zimmer im 16. Stock) nichts davon obwohl mein Zimmer seitlich auf der Kreuzung lag. Nebenan befindet sich ein großes Einkaufszentrum mit diversen bekannten westlichen Essen-/Café-Geschäften wie z.B. McDonald's, Starbucks oder Dairy Queen.||||Zu Fuß sind es vom Hotel ca. 3 Minuten bis zur Metro-Station Jiqiemengdajie auf der Linie 2.||||Die Lobby ist wirklich riesig und macht einen schönen, ordentlichen Eindruck. Das Personal an der Rezeption war nett wenn auch recht englisch sprechend - aber man konnte sich verständigen. Auch das bereits beim einchecken für den Folgemorgen bestellte Taxi war pünktlich da.||||Wie schon erwähnt, lag mein Zimmer im 16. Stock und war (gebucht war ein Standardzimmer) genau so wie man sich ein Standardeinzelzimmer im Hotel vorstellt. Das Kingsizebett war okay und die Matratze nicht so weich und nicht zu hart (für meinen Geschmack).||||Da meine Zimmerrate das Frühstücksbuffet mit beinhaltete konnte ich noch in den typischen Hilton-Frühstücksgenuss (ich liebe die HIlton-Buffet) kommen. Das Buffet war über 3 große Frühstücksräume aufgeteilt. Alles war gut befüllt und beim hinsetzen wurde bereits nach Kaffee und Saft gefragt. Neben dem typisch chinesischem Buffet (ich wage mich da morgens einfach nicht heran...) gab es, wie in China gewohnt, auch den "westlichen" Teil mit Brötchen, Croissants, Butter, Käse, Wurst - also alle dem was "wir" morgens so gerne essen. Auch, wie üblich, wurden Crepes und Omelett frisch zubereitet. Im Hilton Nanjing wurden zudem morgens auch frische Waffeln und Pancakes gemacht. Ebenfalls wurden die Säfte frisch zubereitet (Apfel und Orange) was mir sehr gefiel.||||Alles in allem, vor allen Dingen wegen der Lage und der günstigen Internetrate (90,- €/Nacht) war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt im Hilton Nanjing.
