During my recent trip to Shenzhen, I had the pleasure of staying at Four Points by Sheraton in the Bao’An district—and I must say, it was a refreshing experience that exceeded my expectations in several ways.
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the hotel gave off a clean, modern, and welcoming vibe. The staff at check-in were courteous and efficient, and I appreciated their attentiveness despite the language differences. They made me feel at ease and even offered helpful local tips for nearby attractions and eateries.
The room I stayed in was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Everything from the lighting to the layout felt modern and functional. I particularly liked the USB ports and wireless charging by the bedside—small things that make a big difference when you're traveling. The bed was very comfortable, though I personally found the pillows a bit too soft for my liking. Nonetheless, I had restful nights.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The spread was generous, combining both Western and Chinese selections. Fresh fruit juices, Cantonese dim sum, and even local snacks were part of the offering—perfect fuel for a day of meetings or exploration. I also enjoyed a quiet drink one evening at the bar; it wasn’t crowded and had a relaxed atmosphere.
The gym, located on a higher floor, had a good range of equipment and offered views of the city—a nice touch for winding down after a long day.
One thing to note: while the hotel is well-located for the Bao’An district and is close to malls like Uniwalk and Joycity, it is quite a distance from the city centre. If you're planning to visit places like Huaqiangbei Electronics Market, be prepared for a longer commute—typically around 30 to 40 minutes by car or metro.
In summary, Four Points by Sheraton Bao’An offers excellent value for money. It’s clean, comfortable, and run by a team that seems genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to friends visiting Shenzhen—especially those looking for a modern, well-located hotel in the Bao’An area with solid amenities and...
Read moreI stayed one night during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing me to relax and enjoy the festivities. ||Upon arrival, the concierge warmly greeted me, and I was struck by the grand and stunning lobby. There were comfortable seating areas for drinks and relaxation, creating a welcoming atmosphere.||The receptionist, Tina, was polite and accommodating. I appreciated her arranging a lovely room for me. The deluxe suite was spacious and impeccably clean. The hotel, being relatively new, featured modern amenities like an electronic bidet, motion sensor night lights, a delivery robot, and bedside USB adapters.||The TV offered a wide selection of channels, and the screen was impressively large—definitely at least 50 inches. Service was attentive, and responses via the Bonvoy app were prompt.||Breakfast was enjoyable, with a decent selection of food options. Since our room was on the 13th floor, we didn’t experience any noise from the bar, which some reviews mentioned, allowing us to sleep soundly.||However, the hot water in the bathroom was a letdown; both the shower and bathtub didn’t get hot enough for a comfortable experience. Additionally, the feather pillows were quite flat, and the hotel didn’t offer proper foam alternatives.||Despite these minor issues, the low room rate for such a spacious and clean accommodation, along with good service and a nice breakfast, made the overall value exceptional.||Thank you to Tina, Mia, and the reservation agent for their hospitality. I would definitely...

Door man was consistent in opening the door for us making our trip on Didi feels much safer (like someone seeing us into the cab)
Rooms were thoughtfully furnish with thoughtful details like a round flexible mirror for make up, drainage in the bathroom with anti slip floor and mat, strong pressure water. Toilet bowl with bidet and good tornado auto flush.
We had a Nespresso machine in our room with no pods, which is strange. 4 bottles of waters and 4 types of soda drinks in the fridge which they refilled daily.
Room service is delivered with a robot, and there are racks outside the hotel door if you order delivery
However there was a few amenities lacking like lack of sanitary bag for the first day and as we were in a suite expecting at least a fruit platter.
Area is well lit with lots of people drinking late at night, there is a big common area right across the street with many locals gathering for recreational activities
Breakfast was nice for Chinese food not so much on English (cheese and ham platter was lacking in taste)
