天津泰达国际酒店 — Hotel in Tianjin

Suitable for business stay only as it is an hour drive to the city, where most of the tourist attractions are. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food at the cafe during dinner time is overly rated - 5 star price yet 3 star quality. Breakfast is standard but the staff are hardworking, trying to make it a pleasant breakfast for me. Serve the same food everyday and after two weeks of stay I can literally remember each dish without walking over. Some creativity is needed. Room is kept clean, and laundry service is on time, which is good. The gym equipment are well maintained but the pool is not heated, however not an issue since its indoor. Sauna is a good try. It has limited outdoor amenities such as shopping centre due to location at the industrial site. Japanese food is ergh..... If you have ever tried the better quality Japanese food elsewhere you know what I mean. Mostly dine in at nearby restaurants or having spaghetti for room service. If you are in Tianjin and you are only after a place to sleep then, you can stay in this Hotel. Only thing is you are paying too much for a sleep over. If you are into MODERN type HOTELS then this is not for you.
