Tianjin Green Park Villa Hotel — Hotel in Tianjin

Hotel is at good location. Rooms are good, spacious, bedrooms wooden floored, although beds are a bit firm, can be softer. But the reason i call the stay at this hotel a horrible experience because of the service staff, front desk etc. ||1. The front desk staff are not good at speaking english. Its always a headache for me to explain them something. A terrible incident happened for this miscommunication regarding the payment for the hotel room.||2. I am staying here on a business trip, tried to make payment through my Forex card which was okay, but they tried to swipe for an amount which was slightly more than the current amount in my account. So i tried to make them understand to try for a lesser amount, (remaining amout i will pay later later), but they did not understand.||3. Somehow i was able to make them understand this and able to pay after a lot of hassle. Then nxt week when i tried to pay again, they again said the card is not working .. This time i had the entire amount. They once swiped my card successfully. So how on earth, the swipe is not successful this time ?? Even the card is not not declining (i checked my transaction history). And i am really having a terrible time here for making them understand all these things... ||-- and at complementary breakfast, i have very few choices as most of menu...

Stayed here for 10 days and found it to be a great Hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to main shopping centre and restaurants. Loved the breakfasts which were reasonably priced serving both Western and Asian dishes.||Room was clean,comfortable and self contained (washing machine/dryer/microwave).||Hotel reception was amazing- friendly and very helpful! Sherry,the hotel manager should also be commended for her excellent customer service. She organised drivers for us on several occassions - nothing was too much trouble and communication was fantastic. Thank you!||||Tips||* Japanese restaurant inside the hotel served absolutely beautiful food.So popular I suggest ordering ahead (for takeout meal) or if dining in, get to the restaurant early. Lots of other restaurants within walking distance - recommend Delights a short walk from the hotel as well.|| ||ATM machine inside hotel lobby.|||| Great little shop in foyer opens at aprox 10 am till late - sells everything from washing powder to DVD's, beer, water and snacks. Very handy.||||* Be sure to ask for a water dispenser - refills provided quickly...
