The Ritz Carlton Tianjin is a palace-like hotel. From the moment you enter its gates, you can feel the luxury, the eyes never stop admiring the works of art, the amazing decoration in every corner and on every floor. The suite is like a decorated apartment and the feeling of home is strong. The employees throughout the hotel are so helpful and do a great job for every guest. The manager of rooms Mr. Gordon is especially charming, he helped us so much in some matters even related to the airline and future flight, for every request and question we had an address, moreover Mr. Gordon gave us a gift, the book about this amazing city Tianjin |We fell in love with this place and had so much fun. The club lounge is beautifully designed, it is a wonderful experience for meals to work areas, afternoon tea, many types of drinks and specialty cocktails. The buffet-style breakfast restaurant is extraordinary in its beauty, there are so many places to sit, you might think you are in a different restaurant every day. The variety is so amazing, beautifully designed for the eyes and delicious and excellent tastes .The service is excellent . Above all, we really fell in love with the GM of the hotel Mr. Charlie Zha ,a lovely charming person. Not only does he instill in all the hotel employees the consciousness of service and excellence, but he is in himself a person who is pleasant to talk to ,with a vision, We enjoyed so much hearing in our meetings with him ,during our stay ,that we have some similar aspirations and thoughts, in our love and desire to see and experience the world - to have special experiences and to meet a variety of people from different countries and different cultures. We found a common language and felt most welcomed. It is clear to us that we will get to meet him personally in any hotel he will manage in future ,anywhere else in the world. What a surprise awaited us at the next Ritz Carlton hotel where we stayed, a photo that Mr. Charlie sent to the hotel was printed for us and placed in our room as part of the amazing reception they held in our honor. The Ritz Carlton Chain is our favorite Chain ...

This stay was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the meticulous attention to detail and the genuine warmth of the staff. Small touches: The Dyson hairdryer, the jar of bath salts, and the unexpected complimentary parking if you use their limited self parking spots and mention to the doorman upon leaving your room number and name that you are a guest departing were delightful surprises. Proactive service: The staff consistently anticipated my needs. Upon arrival, the doorman offered to assist with my luggage, and the lobby ambassador kindly guided me to the front desk. Personalized service: Susan at the front desk made check-in seamless by leaving a key easily accessible as well as courteously handing my keys with two hands. Housekeeping staff, Selena, greeted me warmly and respectfully while I was walking the hallways. Anniversary surprise: The personalized welcome letter, rose petals spelling "LOVE," and towel swans were a truly special touch for my anniversary. Thank you Jordan and Jeffi! Immaculate room: The room was spotless, with no dust or signs of wear and tear. The attention to detail was evident in the pristine condition and thoughtful design. Thoughtful technology: The key card system that automatically selected the floor was a convenient and impressive touch. Going the extra mile: The security guard personally guided me to the entrance, and the lifeguard proactively draped a towel over me as I left the pool. The pool attendant's offer of a plastic bag for wet clothes was a thoughtful gesture. Warm farewell: Even the spa front desk staff went above and beyond, offering a farewell gift and assisting with the elevator. These small details, combined with the genuine kindness of every staff member, created an exceptional and memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly personalized and...

The lobby area and the lounge are some of the most atmospheric places to have tea in Tianjin. Probably the reason why most of the people come here would be for their iconic afternoon tea set. However, we found out that the portions here are much bigger than what we expected. Although I do recommend their afternoon tea, it is totally fine to just casually walk in and choose one or two desserts from the menu. (This at least worked for the 3 of us) Despite having a beautiful atmosphere, though, I do have to mention that the service here wasn't top-notch. As we walked into the lounge, not only did no one greet us, but also they didn't mention that the table we chose was reserved. We were eventually told this 15 minutes after sitting, and they didn't even hand us the menu before I asked them to do so. In addition to this, only the general manager of the lounge was able to speak English fluently. (This was shown when my dad tried to order who didn't speak Mandarin.) On the hardware aspect, though, the venue offered an unparalleled experience with a very unique style that can not be found here in Tianjin. Overall, it was a pity to see this hotel struggling to offer the creme de la creme customer experience despite its huge potential to be the dominant leader in the Tianjin hotel scene. (The reason why there is no star rating for the room is because I stayed at the Four Seasons and visited here just for the tea.)

I am deeply disappointed and shocked by my recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin. During my visit, I encountered a series of disturbing events that I believe reflect poorly on the management and integrity of this establishment. Firstly, I was verbally abused by the front desk staff and subsequently threatened by a manager who even suggested calling the police, which ultimately led nowhere. This response was not only unprofessional but also made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. Furthermore, the housekeeping staff entered my room without permission and stole my iPhone SE. To make matters worse, the hotel falsely accused me of damaging the phone and the bathtub. As a result, I was charged an additional $500, which is completely unjustified and feels like a deliberate attempt to exploit me. I expected a much higher standard of service from a prestigious brand like The Ritz-Carlton. This experience has not only caused me financial loss but also significant distress. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider their stay at this location unless the hotel management addresses these serious issues and ensures that such incidents never happen to another guest.

A very nice hotel with excellent service, beautiful decor, and wonderful overall atmosphere. The rooms are large, well furnished and well decorated. Many higher end hires in China will often skimp on the details, not this one. Everything was thoughtfully designed and well maintained, down to the smallest things most people probably wouldn’t even notice. Beautiful lobby, spacious with a high ceiling. There might be children running about once in a while but they hardly cause trouble and let’s be honest, energetic children having fun also lifts the atmosphere. The restaurants keep up with the high standards of the rest of the hotel. Great good, a wide variety of options, always gorgeously prepared. Overall very satisfied with the stay, glad to have such a high quality experience.
