Dorsett Wuhan — Hotel in Wuhan

The reception staff understand very little English. The floor carpet in the room & especially corridor areas look old & somewhat dirty. The heat pump thermostat in the 1st room we got wasn't working so the room was very cold. We asked to have the room changed - the lady staff was very nice & gave us 3 rooms to choose from. Another staff from Housekeeping was quite rude when we asked her how to operate the thermostat when she delivered some pillows. The location was excellent! Really enjoyed the shopping all around the hotel eventhough there were hugh crowd! Going to Wuhan airport via metro was easy, about 16 stops & cost ¥7 only whereas...

This is an excellent hotel in a fantastic central location on Jianghan Road - right next to the pedestrian mall and night market. The first room we were allocated was very hot and stuffy with a window that faced on to an internal courtyard. We went back to reception and requested that our room be changed to a room with an external window and we were given a free upgrade to a Club room. Our room and bathroom were spacious and our bed was very comfortable. We did find it noisy at night and in the morning - noise from fellow guests who were talking loudly and slamming doors! 我在武汉帝盛酒店的入住体验总体非常不错。地理位置绝佳——紧邻热闹的江汉路步行街。出行极其便利：循礼门和江汉路两个地铁站都在10分钟步行范围内，而且大堂外就有公交站（不到100米）。即使是去东湖、黄鹤楼等主要景点，坐地铁或公交也在一小时内可达，打车则更快。

员工始终礼貌、友好，服务周到。特别方便的是，他们很乐意帮忙接收并保管我的网购包裹和外卖——非常实用！

房间干净实用。不过，能明显看出酒店上次装修是在2019年。现在有些家具和设施略显陈旧，缺乏现代感。另外一个小缺点是隔音效果有待加强；偶尔能听到走廊或隔壁房间的声音，特别是关门声（自己房间和隔壁的）非常响。

考虑到优越的地理位置和乐于助人的员工，这绝对是游览武汉的一个绝佳选择。只是在噪音方面需要注意一下。

My stay at Dorsett Wuhan was very positive overall. The location is fantastic – right next to the vibrant Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. Getting around couldn't be easier with the Xunlimen and Jianghan Road metro stations both within a 10-minute walk, and a bus stop literally just outside the lobby (under 100m). Even major attractions like East Lake and the Yellow Crane Tower are easily reachable within an hour by metro or bus, and even faster by taxi.

The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and provided good service. A real convenience was that they happily accepted and held onto my online shopping deliveries and food orders – very helpful!

The room was clean and functional. However, it's noticeable the hotel was last renovated in 2019. Some furnishings and fixtures are looking a bit aged now and lack a modern feel. The only other slight downside was the soundproofing; I could sometimes hear noise from the hallway or adjacent rooms, and the door closing sounds (both ours and neighbours') were particularly loud.

Definitely an excellent choice for exploring Wuhan, especially given the prime location and helpful staff. Just something to be aware of...
