Xunlimen Hotel — Hotel in Wuhan

We stay several days at this hotel on September 2013. This is a very normal standard hotel may be for its long history. Most of the facilities are not the latest modern type but fit to what you want during your stay.||||WiFi is not working because hotel announced updated the network equipment. Buffet breakfast is good for your stomach but not good in your mouth because of poor taste. Room is spacious but not clean enough. Front desk staff quite efficiency but less smiling.||||Location seems a big advantage for this hotel. The underground railway "Wuhan Metro" just locate opposite to the hotel. The station name as same as this hotel "Xunlimen". You will enjoy the transport convenience at here. My family and friends have stayed at this hotel a number of times, in fact every time we stay in Wuhan. The standard of service and helpfulness of the staff are second to none. I am in the tourist and hospitality industry for many years, so I know how to access standards. We travel all over the world and sample many kinds of accommodations.|When we have asked for information this has been quick and correct. |Breakfasts are a feast here - beautiful banana bread! Room and bath were good, clean and spacious. Comfortable and quiet. A small In-room safe (needed staff to help get it working) and wired internet. Eastern style breakfast included; we're experienced China travelers and not fussy eaters but we found it mediocre fare at best. Grocery located across street inside mall, but found no good food or restaurants nearby. Some local's street food places down side streets, but sketchy. Location was ok, but not the best.
