This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible.First and foremost, one aspect that stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with a welcoming atmosphere that boasted cleanliness and tidiness. The attention to detail was remarkable, and it made me feel instantly at ease and comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the buffet breakfast. The variety and quality of food available were simply outstanding. Whether you prefer Western or Asian cuisine, there was something to suit every palate. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring fresh fruits, pastries, hot dishes, made-to-order omelets, and much more. It was an absolute culinary delight to start my day with such a sumptuous and satisfying meal. The hotel's gym facilities were also worth mentioning. As a fitness enthusiast, I greatly appreciated having a well-equipped gym that was accessible at any time. The machines were in excellent condition, and the gym itself was spacious and bright. It was a pleasure to work out while enjoying panoramic views of the city. The hotel staff also provided clean towels and water, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable workout experience.Apart from the gym, another impressive feature was the swimming pool. It was a splendid oasis, offering a refreshing escape from the bustling city. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing ambience. I thoroughly enjoyed taking a dip and unwinding after a long day of exploring Wuhan.Throughout my stay, the staff at the Marco Polo Hotel exhibited exceptional hospitality and attentiveness. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to cater to any needs or inquiries. From the receptionists to the restaurant staff, everyone did an outstanding job, ensuring that my stay was unforgettable.Overall, the Marco Polo Hotel in Wuhan City provided an exceptional experience that I highly recommend. From the cleanliness to the delectable buffet breakfast, from the well-equipped gym to the tranquil swimming pool, this hotel surely knows how to pamper its guests. However, my experience started off on a less-than-pleasant note. The bustling riverside area in Wuhan, coupled with road construction in the vicinity, made it inconvenient for self-driving visitors. Upon arriving at the parking lot entrance, I went through confirmations from security guards and the doorman, only to be turned away by a parking attendant with a rude demeanor, who insisted that the entrance led to a community parking lot, not the hotel’s. Understanding the language barrier and the frustration, I chose not to argue since I was traveling with a baby under one year old and had many bags to manage.||Upon arriving at the hotel lobby to check in, I encountered a chaotic scene. The check-in and check-out processes were congested at the front desk, and although there were three staff members on duty, none were managing the flow of customers. During my check-in, I was interrupted twice by other guests inquiring about the hotel’s parking situation. The staff informed me that the hotel indeed has a partnership for parking, with half of the spaces designated for hotel guests. While their attitude was commendable, their familiarity with procedures could use improvement.||The room itself was very spacious and clean, with new facilities, which I greatly appreciated. I was finally able to enjoy the much-anticipated view of the Yangtze River, which was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. Shortly after, Manager Chen called to apologize for the parking issues and confirmed that the hotel has no dedicated parking facility. He was very sincere and even offered complimentary fruits and dinner as a gesture of goodwill, which I appreciated.||However, upon returning to the hotel later that evening, I was informed by the entry staff that no parking spaces were available, and there was no assistance offered in finding a solution. I had to keep driving, even though there were two available spots around the side of the hotel that no one guided me to. It was around 9:30 PM, and with the temperature dropping and rain starting, it caused significant inconvenience for my family and me.||The next morning, during check-out, I was in a hurry to catch my train but was not informed by the front desk staff that I could use the D$ credits in my account, which were about to expire. As a result, I was charged the full amount directly. In subsequent phone conversations, I was only told that the refund would take time, without any information on when it would be processed. As of the date of this review (November 18, 2024), the refund has still not been received, nor have I been contacted by any staff to confirm or update regarding this matter.|This experience highlights that the hotel is not particularly friendly to self-driving guests. I hope they can address these issues and improve their level of service in the future. With over 300 rooms and only around 40 parking spaces, the current setup is not in line with their positioning as a top luxury hotel.||超一流的位置,不匹配的服务|| 11月16日入住马可孛罗武汉酒店一晚,对其绝佳位置的有着无比期待,但从一开始就变得让人不是那么开心,武汉的江堤景区人潮涌动,加上周边在修路,对于自驾游客而言本就不太方便,但是在停车场入口,经历了停车场入口保安+正门门童+出口保安三位工作人员的确认下,开进所谓的“地下停车场,却被车场保安态度恶劣的哄了出去,理由是这是小区的停车场,不是酒店的,伴随着语气恶劣的武汉方言,我们原路返回,最后出口保安告知酒店没有地下停车场,因为车上有不满周岁的宝宝,行李也比较多,所以没有过多争执。 | ...
