Hello, i just did visit capurgana , and let me say that is a beautiful place to visit , specially if u want a cheap vacations, i cant lie about saying that i can compare capurgana beaches with other. Ones example on the caribbean like curacao, but is beautiful.|I did went in a car 7 hours from medellin and then u have to park u car and take a boat to capurgana from around 1 hour til get there. The boat cost 40 usd and they will take you and thwy will pick you on capurgana in the morning. When u get capurgana. At the end of the harbor on the left side is there a nice hotel katamaran is a cery cheap and beautiful place to stay with a very beautiful view, the owner id the chief of the hotel and let me tell that is very good on kitchen. Rooms are full with AC no tv but ...u dont need tv on vacation. I recommend for people who want to visit zapsurro and then la miel that please if you want to walk a lot take the boat to zapzurro and walk but the way is very heavy i felt very tired when i get la miel. If u want. To no walk so tell to the people boat take you to la miel and pick you there..tht way u dont have to walk . capurgana is very poor town , old houses, no cars, just horses and some scooters, the people is kind and very helpfull very secure and electricity is a very problem there thts why u habe to stay in a hotel with electric generator. The sea is clean specially on playa la miel the very good to do some snorkel , well i hope you enjoy ur tip to capurgana...
Read moreLoved this hostel / hotel - amazing views every single day of sunrises and sunsets. The owner, Carlos, is an absolute treasure and will go above and beyond to make your stay with him memorable. My partner and I stayed with him for 10 days and in that time, not only did we experience everything that Capughana had on offer - but Carlos arranged fishing charters for us, walks to nearby locations and even a trip by horseback to his amazng farm 3 or so hours away in the jungle! Was fantastic. Carlos and Capughana were the highlight for us both on our 3 months trip of South America. I can't rave on enough about him....and if you do head there, make sure he introduces you to his friend 'Liz taylor'. Another gem.||||The rooms were large and airy and the beds comfy. The staff were always easy and helpful and the location is great as its a 3 min walk to the nearest beach for safe swimming. A hotel at hostel pricing. ||||Thanks for such a...
