We went recently there and the location is great. We got the all inclusive which included excursions, food and lodging.
The only thing that was worth it there was excursions. The food was good but they gave you very little quantity vs what they serve off the menu there for dinner. Also they told us our food would be rotated for the duration but it was not. And when we let them know they didn’t care at all and just said nothing
The girl that was overlooking the place was not really friendly and not clear especially when she knew the excursions we paid for was not gonna be as promised(missing some places) due to some issues. We would have appreciated the heads up on that but she acted like she didn’t know even though we knew the guide had talked to her about it.
The rooms are alright, but a lot of issues with mosquitoes. Wish they added some nets or something in places where we sleep so we don’t wake up with bites. Even with bug spray it doesn’t help and having a net would be nice. And it gets very hot since the fans don’t work from 5 am to like 10 am.
Def not worth the price we paid and I think it would be better to stay somewhere else. The local excursions were all great tho and the local guides were very...
Read moreStayed here for one night on our way to San Blas. |The ladies were super helpful- doing our laundry really quickly and letting us pay in dollars when we realised we had run out of pesos. |The pizza was great too.|The private room we took (70k) was basic and could have done with a few extra touches like a lamp and hooks for towels. |My main issue with the room though was that there were a lot of mosquitos and no net. The night we stayed there was also a power cut meaning the room got ridiculous hot without the fan - we had to leave the front door open for the slightest breeze. |It was a quiet, chilled place though, and would recommend for a quick stay on your way through if you have your...
Read moreOk hostel. No air con, only fans to keep you cool at night. The courtyard is a nice area to hang out in. The kitchen isn't really for guest use which is unfortunate because the food in town is expensive. But the owners were nice enough to let us use their kitchen. The owners who run the place are never around if you need anything which is kind of annoying. Most people in Capugana are not super friendly or helpful, they just do their own thing. We would recommend going...
