Paraíso Cangrejales — Hotel in Acandí

The Best place to stay in Sapzurro. We stayed with Kosceth and Carlos for 5 months, while we were stuck in Sapzurro during the Corona pandemic. And we couldn't have been in a better place. Kosceth and Carlos welcomed us in their house in a very difficult time and made us feel like we are family. We were so lucky to be stuck in this beautiful paradise. The rooms are very big and open and you are surrounded by nature. Cangrejales is a little outside the village, just a short walk to cabo tiburon, right were the most beautiful beaches of Sapzurro are. It is very nice and quiet and you only hear the beautiful sounds of nature: birds, geckos, squirrels, frogs and the waves. I loved playing with their adorable two cats and two dogs. Kosceth is a wonderful chef and surprised us every day with her lovely creations in the kitchen with delicious fresh fruits and vegetables from their big garden. We are so happy to have found this paradise. And I can't wait to go back...

We loved staying at Paraiso Cangrejales. It was an adventure getting there! Our room was very clean, decorated with fresh flowers, spacious and very close to nature. It almost felt as if we were sleeping in the jungle (but safe inside!) The surrounding yard and gardens were stunning and it was a short walk to a nice little beach. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was delicious and healthy. I forget the young lady's name who was the chef but she was lovely and accomodated my Celiac (gluten free) diet. She also helped me with the washer so we could do some laundry. We ended up having dinner here two times. Being such a remote place, we had to let her know by about 11:00am so she could get the ingredients to prepare our meals. Both meals were the best we had in Sapzurro...

This is a review about the restaurant.||It's by far the best place to eat in town. During my stay in Sapzurro I tried almost everything on the menu, often times eating there twice a day for lunch and dinner. It upholds a gourmet quality, as it is managed and run by a Peruvian chef. The setting is very beautiful and relaxing, very close to my favorite beach. You must order one hour in advance; therefore, I recommend going there, ordering, then relaxing at the nearby beach while you wait to enjoy the sunset.
