Botanic Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Antioquia

Alejandra and Jordan's Botanic Boutique Hotel is the perfect place to stay when visiting Guatapé. Right on the water with great views of both the lake and La Piedra (the big rock that rises above the lake), the hotel is tucked away on a beautiful peninsula that's a short tuk-tuk ride (10 minutes tops) to downtown Guatapé.

The hotel and property are beautiful with lots of outdoor space for relaxing, awesome hot tub, access to kayaks and stand-up paddle boards to take out on the lake, fruit trees for picking, indoor/outdoor kitchen that guests can use, and other fun things to do (nice billiard and ping pong tables).

Jordan and Alejandra are also great hosts, very generous with lots of local recommendations and their home-cooked meals are delicious (all fresh with local ingredients). Botanic Boutique was the perfect getaway location! Everything about it was fantastic, beautiful views, comfortable rooms, wonderful meals prepared fresh daily, kayaks & paddle boards, and multiple tours available, including a coffee tour, a waterfall tour, and parasailing. The location is secluded overlooking the lake from the balcony or the infinity pool, but only minutes from town. But hands down the best thing about Botanic was the owners, Alejandra & Jordan! They have an energy that is contagious and a passion for giving their guest the best Colombian experience possible. My highlight of my Colombia trip was staying at Botanic for the 4 days we did, the host's are amazing, the food is amazing, the landscape is beyond beautiful, and its just over all a beautiful location, with the view of La Piedra del Penol !
