Recently visited with my partner and teenage sons. Everyone loved it. We stayed in dome 1 and 2. 1 is a bit more private (although slightly closer to the road) and 2 has a great water view.
Beds are really comfortable and linens were soft. Domes do have a/c which is needed during the day. Unfortunately the a/c in 1 did not cool. Luckily at night no a/c is needed. However by mid morning the next day our dome was unbearably hot.
Bathrooms are under the dome platforms and are partially open. I loved the bathrooms!
My sons ate dinner there - both ordered the salmon which was fantastic! I was skeptical about ordering salmon but they both said it was some of the best salmon they’ve ever had. Desserts were yummy although I do wish the had an Arequipe option. We had breakfast included. Boys got the oat pancakes which were good. We had the eggs and cheese sandwiches. They were ok. I wish there was an arepa option. Fire pit with marshmallows was fun!
We used the paddle boards and kayaks and loved getting out on the water,
The grounds are beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay there again if we were...
Read moreThis place is great with super personal attention by the staff who bring everything to your cabin space. The bedding is very comfortable and the mini fridge is well stocked. The free activities are nice. ||Points of attention: |* The jacuzzi does not have central heating which means you have to wait upwards of 30 minutes for it to fill, and if you want hot water again you must dump (some of) it out and refill with water that may or may not come out hot from the faucet.|* The entry way is unnecessarily low, which caused me to bump my head more than once. |* Take a GOOD look at which view/room you book. We booked lake room one and we barely got a glimpse of the lake. So I would suggest to check that throughly as I wasn't really aware. From lake room one you will be surrounded by the sound of nature as well as the road close to the glamping (think: birds chirping and cars zooming by)|* The waiver signed for the jetski is unappealing and I'd go so far as to say unlawful placing any and all blame on the user. Isn't that what insurance is for? ||These are just points of attention. All things considered I would probably stay here again...
Read moreGreat location in the heart of Guatape, secluded glamping with nice amenities.
I will note before anything else that I really appreciated Cristina and her team as I had a pending reservation there for almost 2 years (!) blocked by covid. Every now and then Cristina and I touched base and secured the initial payment upon our arrival. I really appreciated this during the covid tough times, it was great customer service.
The bonfire marshmallows certainly is a nice touch, so are the self-serving water sports activities. Nothing like a nice kayak-ing early in the morning at 6am on a secluded lake. Food is also great, especially the salmon. Breakfast was delicious too, both the Benedict eggs and the domus breakfast.
There were a few minor inconveniences while there, but the staff worked hard to accommodate everything. One was slow food for room service but to be fair, the staff mentioned it upfront. Also the wifi was unstable but given its location, oh well, even better reason to connect with nature instead :) Despite these, they are deserving a five star from my end for being welcoming and working hard to fix,...
