Distrito 21 is a very cool brand and an awesome concept in this up & coming neighborhood. We arrived to find a great coffee shop with vintage pedal bikes going by on the adjacent bike lanes and we knew we were in an artistic cultural hotspot. We were greeted by Jorge the manager and personally shown all the different rooms. All the rooms were artistic, modern, and comfortable looking !! We stayed on the top floor just above the rooftop deck. The whole group we were with hung out on the rooftop playing cards and sampling the hotels amazing array of beverages from the bar. The weather was great and the environment was perfect. We then went downstairs to enjoy a coffee cocktail and art show that was put on by the hotel. It was amazing and we met a ton of new local people !! We then went to the park only a couple blocks from the hotel and had drinks at local spots until it was time to go to the Rinco ... a pub with dancing horses riding in the bar. ADORBS ! perfect location to great cafes , restaurants , Shopping and Metro . Good breakfast, served by Sol ( she is a jack of all trades here ) Maritza the manager very helpful. |Only four rooms come with a window/views|Which are spectacular view of Medellin mountains . Read moreThis place is a concrete bunker with steel doors. There's no airflow into the rooms. We checked into the hotel and went to get some lunch came back and spent 30 minutes in the room at which point we decided we couldn't tollerate staying there. The hotel said the policy is no refunds so we left anyway... The hotel promptly cancelled my reservation on Booking so that I couldn't write a review even though I had already paid for the room. This hotel is overrated and overpriced.
