When I arrived in Bogota, I needed to find a hotel for a delayed flight, we looked around and asked workers at the currency exchange to recommend a hotel nearby, they told us about the people standing around with signs, who provided hotels with taxis included. They made it sound like a 5-star hotel, so we were easily convinced. But once we got into the taxi, and 10 minutes in, I was nervous because the neighborhood seemed very unsafe, they turned into a a hotel with only one lady at the front desk, it seemed very old school with everything being written on paper, and the woman asked us for our destination which was very sketchy. The rooms were very small and uncomfortable, it was like a cheap motel you would find. And for the price, we expected more, it was 220 000 for each room. Additionally, the hallways were very loud, and you could hear everything in the building. Very disappointed with my experience here, I felt unsafe and it was...
Read moreThis place gets 1 star because I could not have rated it a zero. Do not stay there. Here's why. It has been very noisy, which was okay. The shower socks which was also okay but this morning was the worst of all. The receptionist told me that I can eat my breakfast in my room because it was cold in the lobby, when I was taking it there, the person that brought it downstairs to the lobby said that I cannot take it to my room.I did not understand because they sell snacks in the lobby that you can purchase and take to your room. The so called breakfast is only one sandwich OR fried eggs with 2 pieces of toasts... My breakfast was the sandwich option and a cup of coffee so it did not make sense to me so I left it there in the lobby.I travel alot and that was the first hotel I've ever been that you cannot eat breakfast in your room so I checked out and moved to another hotel... DO NOT...
