la ofi — Hotel in Cali

On September 2014 I had written a review regarding my experience at the Ofi. Kely Johanna Murcia G., Directora Comercial, had reached out wanting to rectify some of our bad moments and potential refund us some fees and asked that I modify my rating. She also wanted me to give the hotel another try and have a different experience. At the end we agreed on a complimentary night stay, which she said had no time limitation and can be used by anyone. I had asked her for email confirmation of this and she said it would not be needed because it would be noted on their system.||||On April 22, 2016 I reached out because I was planning a trip and would finally be able to use the complimentary night. I was looking forward to visiting Ofi and having a different experience. However, Julio Cesar Ospina, Receptionist, responded to my inquiry of the complimentary night and said that it was only good for 6 months. I had explained that the Kely mentioned there being no time limit to this complimentary stay and that it was based difficulties during my visit but never received a response and neither did a manager reach out to me, which is what I expected. ||||My thoughts are that Ofi never wanted to correct the situation and they just wanted me to change my rating so they could maintain an excellent rating. Also, offering a room with a time limitation of 6 months is unrealistic because tourist do not visit the same country within 6 months. ho pernottato tre notti dal 28 maggio al 31 maggio 2013 un po difficile da incontrare viste le varie lettere che compongono le strade di Cali un mistero ai piu' ed anche a qualche tassista che deve portarvici...||||passiamo all'hotel scordatevi insegne a caratteri cubiformi la scritta OFI + HOTEL c'è ma ti devi avvicinare parecchio per vederla..... l'hotel è carino moderno il personale è cordiale e soprattutto EFFICIENTE ... sa cosa rispondere professionalmente (cosa rara in colombia) .... l'hotel ha un sito internet proprio ma scordatevi di trovare le tariffe dovrete mandare una email e loro vi risponderanno .... meglio approfittare delle offerte di HOTEL.COM -BOOKING.COM - AGODA. ecc ecc a me tre notti sono costate 400.000. pesos non male per un BOUTIQUE HOTEL che mi pare la categoria piu' appropriata visto che è superiore a un 3 stelle ma non arriva al 4 stelle .... perchè??||||perchè NON HA L'ASCENSORE||||perchè i lavandini del bagno sono solo di 25 cm di diametro (sfido chiunque a servirsene senza bagnare le pareti circostanti (lavandino bello ma per niente funzionale)||||mancano appoggi per qualsiasi beauty case o la semplice attrezzatura da barba io ho dovuto usare il water chiuso a fianco... ||||nella stanza n. 2 (202) vistose crepe nella doccia non mi davano fastidio però c'erano e si nota che attorno al lavabo la vernice ha delle vistose bolle di umidità evidentemente anche gli altri non sono stati capaci di lavarsi la faccia senza spruzzare di acqua le pareti circostanti||||||del resto è un buon hotel sulla terrazza si puo' consumare il desayuno MA E' AL 4 PIANO senza ascensore L'AMBIENTE E' AMENO vale la pena di soffrire per arrivarci.... c'è comunque l'opzione della colazione in camera (per i piu' pigri)||||||consiglio quest'hotel ma dovrete servirvi per qualsiasi spostamento di un taxi dopo le 21,00 la zona di versalles si fa particolarmente isolata ed in strada sembra un deserto TAXI sara' la vostra parola d'ordine ... consiglio questo hotel a coppie in vacanza .........

We had been in this hotel three times, and the service continue being good, the receptionist regularly is bilingual and that is helpful when you only speak English, the rooms are quiet you so can sleep well. One negative thing this time is that this hotel needs maintenance, we noticed that this time, we saw several problems. Shame. Hopefully the management read this and do something about it. We saw some blankets and sheets with stains. Come one guys! ...
