If you’re more into the night life, try a rum tasting tour, dine in amazing restaurants, and dance the night away. Came for the culture? Be SURE to visit Palenque and take a tour of the art around the city.

The intricately crafted eco-friendly villas at TVC have you forget you’re not home with how comfortable the beds are and how cozy it all feels. I didn’t even need to bring shampoo, conditioner, or body wash because the eco-friendly options provided at the resort were amazing and smell divine!

The food at TVC is delicious. The service is unmatched. You’re treated like family from first introductions. The staff is pleasantly accommodating and Akil, the owner, goes above and beyond to welcome every guest into the TVC family. It’s no wonder I’ve been back twice and can’t wait to return!

My only complaint is that I’m afraid they’ve set the bar too high for any other vacation to even come close.

A Hidden Gem in Cartagena!

My stay at Tiny Village Cartagena was amazing! Nestled just off the coast, this boutique resort perfectly blends modern comfort with the rich cultural heritage of Cartagena. The "Tiny Villas" are beautifully designed, maximizing space without compromising on comfort—each villa feels like a cozy retreat with stunning views.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the attention to detail. The architecture pays homage to the Old Spanish Colonial style, and I loved how reclaimed materials from the historic Teatro Colon were incorporated into the design. It really adds a unique touch!

The amenities are fantastic! I spent my afternoons lounging by the jacuzzi pool and enjoying refreshing drinks from the bar. The restaurant offers delicious local cuisine that showcases the vibrant flavors of Colombia!

What truly sets Tiny Village apart is its commitment to sustainability. With 80% of its energy sourced from solar power and rainwater recycling systems in place, it’s clear that they care about minimizing their environmental impact while providing guests with a luxurious experience.

The location is perfect—just a short boat ride from Cartagena, allowing easy access to explore the city while enjoying the tranquility of island life. Great for a romantic getaway or a fun trip with friends, could also accommodate group trips like bachelorette parties.

I feel very fortunate to have experienced TVC while traveling in Cartagena. The property is absolutely stunning, and there is a beautiful energy that you can feel once you arrive. You can tell that a lot of passion, intention and dedication went into the creation of this space, which made my experience feel even more magical.

TVC literally has everything you need for a relaxing time: charming homes, comfortable beds, delicious food, jaw-dropping views, a cute pool, vibrant vibes and a great staff! Akil and his team were excellent and made me feel safe, secure and comfortable throughout my stay.

Another bonus is the fact that visitors can plan day trips and group experiences through TVC. It's an opportunity to meet other vacationers and convenient for travelers who do not feel like planning/researching excursions to book. TVC scheduled my transportation and tour to San Basilio de Palenque. The tour went smoothly and I had such an incredible time learning about the history and culture of the town.
