Hotel & Camping La Cumbre Del Macizo — Hotel in Huila

We are travelling with our bicycles and we spent 3 nights in this very quiet place! Pablo is amazingly welcoming and extremely helpful as he told us where to find a laundry nearby and shared all important information with regards to the area.

The place is actually a hotel with a lot of space for campers and tents. It rained the whole time and Pablo kindly offered us to stay underneath the wooden cabin.

Moreover, the place is extremely secure as we could safely lock our bikes against a pole. You will find all the facilities you need: fast wifi, electricity, fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, toilets & cold showers, pic-nic tables, hammocks. I camped 2 nights at this location and the surroundings and facilities were fantastic. I was able to view the rooms and they were very clean, comfortable and luxurious for a hostal. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout the stay and was kind enough to let us use one of the showers in a bedroom for a hot shower. The showers and toilets at the campsite were clean and adequate but the water was very cold. I would highly recommend this place either for camping or hotel service as the prices were very reasonable considering the 10 minutes distance to the archeological park. And to end the note, we had three of their dogs accompany us through the evening....

One of the best campgrounds I've stayed in over a year of backpacking south america. Clean bathrooms, showers, fully equipped indoor kitchen, hammocks, multiple covered eating areas with a really intimate feel (unlike other campgrounds in town). Only a 15 minute walk to the center of San Agustin but away from all the noise and above everything so youre immersed in nature and have the most gorgeous views of the lush mountains and valleys in 2 directions.

The hosts made me so comfortable and their dogs couldnt be more adorable. My only regret is I only stayed 3 nights instead of 3 weeks. Cannot...
