Maloka surf Isla fuerte — Hotel in undefined

Hola!.

Wow what a little diamond of a place to stay. I was here last month for 7 nights and it couldn't have been more perfect. The house itself is so cute and cosy and well equipped. The hosts Jaime and Coral made me feel like I was at the friends place, super accommodating , helped me with transport to the island, any questions I had while there, brought me on a tour of the island and into the slums to meet the locals which was amazing.

You basically have a big chunk of land , a private beach and your own hut 🛖 to stay in. It's delightful. They can get you any kind of boat activity you'd like, take you surfing or snorkeling and a really handy thing I recommend is get the local lady to make your meals and deliver them daily. Super tasty food well cooked and well priced delivered daily and times you choose, what's not to like?!

You have a private beach and pier, the grounds are so relaxing you're away from any people, this was exactly what I was after.

The bed is super comfy and there's a lot of storage space for clothes too. Bug nets cover all the window spaces so you're good at night I had very few bug issues and mostly not mosquitoes.

The place is quite quiet and nicely cool at night and plenty of air moving which is nice, fan is there if needed. I slept a few nights without.

Coral is a healer and does treatments and sells amazing handmade organic creams , lotions and serums that smell incredible and shout quality at you, nabbed me some before I left, amazing products.

Lovely quiet place - perfect to disconnect and enjoy the nature and the beach. You have the little hut with a kitchen, terrace and a bathroom for yourself. If you want to prepare meals yourself, you should bring groceries from the land, because everything is a bit pricey here. Maloka surf is situated at the great part of the island: the sea is clear, calm and it is very easy to reach other places you may want to visit from here. Jaime is a great guide and host - he took us for a walk around the island and helped us understand the everyday life at the island. We also booked a snorkling tour with him and it was amazing.
