Best place for solo travellers. I am very surprized with all the bad reviews. This hotel is a paradise for solo travellers. Wonder who are these people who are complaining about noise? Dear, if you want to sleep peacefully, go to some european country for pin drop silence. For a change i was here for party. And this hotel served my purpose perfectly. Just at the bottom is a bar where you get good music and cheaper drinks. Friendly staff , and room cleaning service worked everyday. The hotel is completely monitored with camera and its safe for a city like medellin. Firstly i was never told the lift was not working, i came with a group of 10 people including my 70year old mother and this was not suitable for someone who cannot walk too many stairs and elderly! Ridiculous EXTREMELY LOUD noises from the licorera downstairs who is sooo inconsiderate playing the music even without punters. The rooms are new but do need a clean up very dirty floors and rugs as well as not a very good smell once you walk in the rooms. No sound proof windows it is insane how loud it is. Not very good value for money and i certainly didn’t have any rest at all!! A very awful experience, shame because hotel is very well located and central but terrible noise and attention to details. After seeing the reviews it looks like the owner does NOT pay any attention to the suggestions and complaints and the lift is still not fixed. A great place for travelers staying for 30 days at a time. The economy studio room has a kitchenette, comfy bed, ice cold A/C, strong signal free wifi. Ignore the local ratings. Here in Medellín the lesser hotels pay people in a scam to wear down the ratings of the better hotels in favor of their hostels and substandard hotels by having them write terrible reviews. I give this place 5 stars. The only complaint many folks have is about the noise. My room had no problem but Management has switched out many of the windows in an attempt to make the rooms more sound proof.
