Palmar San Gil — Hotel in San Gil

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and it is a beautiful & unique hotel with beautiful views, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Firstly it is 15 mins away from the town, and we felt the hotel was not worth the daily 30 minute / $15 USD taxi drive since there are no shops and only one restaurant nearby (which isn't that great), so I would recommend staying closer to town. And if you're considering staying here just for the jacuzzi, be warned that it only heats up to 36 degrees C/ 96 degrees F -- what a pity! Also, make sure to bring water bottles since there are no water bottles included -- yet another disappointing feature of their service, especially at the price point. Lastly, the AC stopped working on our last day and the host made no effort to try to help despite us expressing how hot it was in the room -- no fan, no offer to move to another room, no effort whatsoever, other than a "sorry our mechanic stops working at 3pm so you have to wait...

I had the pleasure of staying in the Pálmar San Gil Hotel recently, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a truly luxurious experience from the lush gardens and sparkling swimming pool to the modern rooms and in suite jacuzzi this hotel did not disappoint. One of the highlights of my trip was waking up to the breathtaking view of the lush mountains that’s surrounds the property. All the staff are also incredibly hospitable and accommodating, making my stay that much more enjoyable. Pálmar San Gil hotel is without a doubt one of Colombias hidden gems and I will definitely be returning.

Not to mention all the fun activities in the area including white water rafting, rappel, paragliding...

Una experiencia inolvidable

-Nos vamos muy contentos, las atenciones de los Anfitriones increíbles -El lugar está espectacular, súper acogedor, limpio (200%🥰) -La tranquilidad demasiado espectacular -La cama deliciosa, cómoda , es la primera vez que un hotel tiene almohadas espectaculares Las cobijas con ese olor delicioso,se siente olor de hogar 🥰😍 ⁠El desayuno muy delicioso, las arepitas increíbles ⁠tus atenciones de 10 😊 ( Juan Pablo) ⁠amamos Alexa , tanto que anoche no aguantamos y compramos una 😅😂( cosas que no sabíamos que necesitábamos hasta que vinimos aquí)

Definitivamente deseamos regresar en compañía de nuestra hija
