Hotel Casa Sattva — Hotel in San Onofre

These is the kind of reviews that should be taken into account, rooms seem to be nice with great views but it's way overpriced, I think facilities come to second place whereas having a great service is fairly important. I was worried because I needed internet connection for some payment transactions and they brag about having Wi-Fi, but they seem to have big issues with the internet as I read later (I ended using cellphone data with full signal so problem solved).

They were not kind which bothers me a lot, you don't expect this on a 4+ star hotel at all and less if you are vacationing. Owners seemed to be suspicious all the time. Lastly I read previous reviews and decided to book somewhere else and it was the best choice I made since I paid half the price I was willing to pay for night and had a 5 star king service.

By having Wi-Fi/internet issues and bad service I think I will not give a try on a business trip.

Taking into consideration the infrastructure of Rincon del Mar, Casa Sattva is an excellent choice. The welcome drink was really, really refreshing and appreciated after the hot trek to get to the hotel. Carlos was amazing, always providing top service and very helpful throughout our stay. A+ employee! Breakfast was decent (varied a little every day) but there is someone serving you breakfast so you cannot have as much as you would like. We liked the fact that everything was covered. Fruits were very scarce, we would have appreciated a bit more. Ideal location, right on the beach in a more quieter area of Rincon del Mar (except when there is a party). |Cons: no AC. Ceiling fans helped but it would be even more ideal if the patio door had a screen so no mosquitoes/bugs can come in. There was one big party on a Saturday night until 2 am but there is nothing you can do about that but keep an open mind and enjoy...
