My husband and I have already been traveling for four weeks in Colombia. This place was the most expensive we ever stayed in and unfortunately not worth the high price. To be fair, the place is clean and safe, with places to sit outside of your room, and in a good location, close to the river and restaurants. But our room, # 11, was sterile, with soso wifi and no place to put |things other than some rack on the wall. No hangers, no hooks. No bedside lamps. The bathroom was small, o.k though, but no place in the shower to put the soap or shampoo. You had to put it on the floor.|The toilet paper-big dispenser, though, was behind you,above your head, on the wall and impossible to reach while sitting on the toilet. This small hotel is located just few steps from Mompox ‘s main square. In a not so nicely refurbished colonial house you can find a comfortable place in which the real difference is how the hosts make you feel at home. Viajamos cuatro miembros de la familia a un hotel que nos más llegando fue una decepción. No más llegar el día 27 de diciembre encontramos que el acceso al segundo piso donde nos ubicaron fue por unas escaleras tan empinadas y estrechas que parecieron propias para alpinistas. En las mañanas, desde las 8:00 a.m., estuvieron haciendo trabajos en unas habitaciones nuevas que están construyendo y no dejan descansar con el ruido de taladros y martillos. Al cambiarnos de alojamiento para uno más hotel, nos encontramos que no tienen datáfono para tarjeta de crédito y solo nos recibían efectivo o transferencia de tarjeta Nequi que nosotros no manejamos. Fue una dificultad. Nos tocó firmar un recibos y estar un buen rato indicando que no era momento para ir a un cajero electrónico a retirar efectivo pues al tratar de hacerlo había colas de 80 ó 100 personas retirando los subsidios gubernamentales de Familias en Acción.|A estas alturas estamos esperando las facturas legales...
