Awesome place! An urban oasis! Truly and highly recommend it to anyone planning to travel to Santa Marta. Staff was very friendly and helpful - I don't have any electronic gadgets and they gave me very helpful tips and guides in navigating myself around including going to Tayrona Park on my own taking public transportation. Their breakfast was great - truly home cooking! My room was very comfortable. I only stayed for two nights and wished I stayed longer to explore more Santa Marta use the hotel's facilities like the shared kitchen. This is also a great hotel for families - the pool is "private" and very clean. For a time, I felt it was like it was a home away from home particularly because my spoken Spanish is not so good and yet I was understood well.|The location is authentic, nothing polished or showcased. The Hotel manager and staff were all friendly and were always fast to help. The hotel is super secure and in a very safe part of town. The room was cleaned daily! The garden and pool are phenomenal, well kept and a modern pool. 4 options for breakfast (We tried them all and they were delicious and fresh!). Short drive from the Market plaza and Parque de Los novios (perfect for a night out and food). We stayed while going on our outings to Minca, Tayrona, and the beaches. They are super communicative over WhatsApp and everything was seamless. The wifi was great and they even had a TV in our room with Netflix. I went with my girlfriend and we were so sad to leave. Special thanks to Sandra at the front desk for all your recommendations of food spots! Loved them all. When we come back, this is the only place that will be on my list!
