DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst hotel in CR. Our toilet was broken, no soap or water, 3 wasps nests on our bungalow, a murky dirty pool, crazy steep driveway that's hard to navigate in the dark, no receptionist and no staff at all present on site except for at 2pm for a brief check in window -- and worst of all the DOG BITES and the owners couldn't care less. When their dog bit our three year old (bruising and breaking her skin), the dog/hotel owner never once apologized for the unprovoked bite. Once at the hospital we were instructed to ask the hotel/dog owner to confirm with the owner that the dog had had a rabies/tetanus vaccination as the bite had broken her skin. The hotel/dog owner ignored a dozen text messages and five calls about this which is super suspicious that the dog has never been vaccinated or they are outdated which means that if biten to the point it breaks skin and bleeds that you will have to get post exposure tetanus/rabies injections. The hotel/dog owner never even responded or apologized. Classic rude, absentee America owner who couldn't care less and is just profiting off your stay and neglecting the property and it's guests. Take our advice and spend a little extra for a safe play to stay with kinder, present hosts.
UPDATE: adding this shortly after my post above because it only took the hotel a few minutes to condescendingly respond to my review compared to requests for help which they take ages on or choose not to respond at all. First, my husband was standing right next to my daughter and your dog when she leant down to pet it and it bit her without provocation. So I'm not sure why you felt the need to lie that we were not with her at the time of the attack. Second, there was shampoo and conditioner in the shower but 100% no hand soap so we used our own hand sanitizer. Third, I encourage anyone reading this to read all of the negative reviews and read the hotels snarky responses that take no accountability. In March, me and my boyfriend booked 2 nights at this Airbnb. Unfortunately, the day before our arrival I had an accident and needed surgery on my foot. I couldn’t walk properly, had antibiotics and had to make sure that my foot didn’t get infected. When we arrived at the Airbnb, it didn’t look as idyllic as the pictures. The bathroom was not that clean and because no one was there it looked a bit like a deserted hotel. It didn’t feel comfortable to stay there with my injury. We contacted Monty to try to cancel the 2nd night but that was not possible - which was no problem for us. We decided to leave the Airbnb for dinner and came back at 11 PM (still didn’t see any people) and left the Airbnb very early the day after to go to another hotel.
We didn’t left a review because we wanted to stay nice but the review I got from Monty was beyond crazy and was full of lies. He wrote that we terrorized the whole hotel and where drunk in the pool. Really funny because I couldn’t drink, walk or swim. We weren’t even there or met/see any other guest. We literally only spent the night there.

Read moreUPDATED Given the lack of accountability in the original response from this business.. I would like add that yes, I was at the right place. We arrived just after 3PM and waited till 8:30 PM for them to respond before looking elsewhere. No the place was not fully booked. I know because there were no other cars there and no other lights in any rooms. And only 1 little outdoor security light was on. No emails were ever received. I have screen shots of the multiple days worth of phone calls and texts that were all ignored by the business from the day of check in 12/5 through 12/9. Again this business lacks any type of customer service. Don’t let them fool you.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I don’t normally leave reviews unless really warranted and this is warranted. We showed up for our two night stay and the place was completely empty. No lights no reception nothing. This is all after they had already charged me for the full two night stay. We called, texted, everything and no respond.
