Inn Jimenez Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Puerto Jiménez

We stayed here for two separate overnight stays either side of a visit to Corcovado National Park. The property offers super clean rooms and although they are very small, they are adequate for a short stay. There was only a cold shower available in the ensuite bathrooms we stayed in. Rooms have a ceiling fan and air conditioning plus TV with netflix. Our bedroom had no window and so felt airless, so we propped open the bathroom door to improve ventilation. No breakfast was available due to our very early morning departures. ||There is only very limited lounge seating inside the house, but plenty of outdoor seating in an immaculately maintained garden, which attracts a wide variety of birds.||The accomodation is also convenient both for the collectivo for Carate and the bus to San Jose located just...

Great place, it's a small property - only 3 bedrooms, so very cosy - it felt like you were in your own private house. Room clean and comfortable. There is a small pool available, which was great for cooling down after walking the Cocorvado national park. There is a small lounge for sitting around - but area around the pool better for relaxing, especially during the day. Good location in the centre of town.||||Trip Advisor states its a B&B - but this is not the case. Coffee is provided, but not breakfast. Not a problem as there is a great bakery around the corner - opens at 4.30 am! No doubt our favourite accommodation in Costa Rica! Katya, the owner was the best. A sweet lady who treated us like family and helped make our time there extra special. The place is immaculately clean with beautiful gardens and a nice cool pool. The birds enjoy the feeders and trees on the property. We didn’t have breakfast because we had to leave before 5:30 am for a tour, but Katya made sure we had coffee ready to go. She let us use the kitchen to prepare food for the next day. She even stored our luggage and let us park our vehicle there while we were hiking in Corcovado. We will definitely be visiting Puerto Jimenez again and next time, we will stay longer at Inn Jimenez Bed...
