Hotel Hoja de Oro Corcovado — Hotel in Puerto Jiménez

Our tour guides recommended this hotel to us. We are glad that we accepted his suggestion. This hotel is in good location, close to Main Street, beach, restaurants. At night, it’s quite. The hotel is very clean and is taken good care. Also, they have 24 hours front desk. And, breakfast is in room fee. Our room with balcony is nice. We joined a tour and plan to check out after we r back. However, our tour took much longer time and we contacted hotel. Due to guest will check in soon, they help us put our bags in the front desk. We are honored to be the first international guest of this brand new, family-owned hotel (opened about a week before our stay). We met the 2 sisters who own the hotel, their husbands, as well as their kids. One of the daughter was our point person before and during our stay. We couldn't find the place at first (it was before it was on google maps), and she drove around town looking for us to bring us over. It's a very good place, new, very clean, with hot water and working air conditioning. Nice laptop working area in the common space upstairs. We arrived late into Puerto Jimenez and drove around looking at several "hotels." This is a small, out-of-the-way town on the Osa Peninsula. You are not going to find luxury accommodations here. This hotel is the best you are going to find. The owners and staff are extremely friendly. The hotel is spotless and everything is very clean. The room and bathroom are comfortable and clean. You can park your car in a locked parking next to the hotel. They gave us a ticket to eat breakfast the next morning at Soda Nora a small restaurant a block away.
