This hotel in Velika Gorica is an excellent value and very clean and friendly hotel. It is situated around a 10 minute drive from Zagreb airport and there is a free shuttle. Velika Gorica is itself a pleasant little town with a few restaurants, bars and shops and is around 20 minutes away from the centre of Zagreb by bus. The hotel is basic, but the beds are comfortable and there is a tv alongside a personal wifi connection in each room, which is very fast due to the bandwidth not being shared by the whole hotel. My room was very spacious and the bathroom was large with a shower and plenty of hot water. I paid 200kn for a single room including all taxes and breakfast which is far cheaper than would be found in Zagreb itself. Breakfast was the usual Croatian effort of bread, eggs, cheese, some meat and really bad coffee (there is a cafe bar across the road for coffee lovers)!. Vegans probably won't find much but...

Read moreThis is a clean and convenient stop-off, within 20 minutes of Zagreb Airport. Our room was in fact a suite, with two double rooms, a small sitting room and ensuite bathroom. Although the furnishings are simple, the rooms were spotlessly clean. The room was surprisingly quiet, for a town centre location. Rooms are air conditioned.
