Mon Ami — Restaurant in City of Velika Gorica

We had been on a road trip in Croatia for 10 days and were staying in the area before catching our flight back home. We came across this place without being sure of what to expect but it was an extremely pleasant experience, it is a very nice and well decorated restaurant with a very wide choice of seafood and fish....best squid I had in a very long time! Kudos to our waiter Josip - he made this a whole experience even better, he was super engaging and share recommendations on wines, dishes etc...If we are back in Zagreb we will...

One of the best restaurants i have been in , and also not very expensive . The shrimp risotto was magnificent and smooth , very creamy and veryyy flavourful. The steak was amazing !! And even the sides were great , the vegetarian options are very good as well , the salad was perfectly balanced . The service time was fast , and the staff is very professional and friendly . The atmosphere of the place was very relaxing . All in all a very very nice experience. Only problem that there was no customer parking for...

Everything we ordered was great, only remark (if it can be considered as one) would be that the portions are just too big. I know it’s better to serve a bit more that to have complaints about lack of food but since they serve a lot of seafood and fish dishes, people that come for that come to enjoy 2-3 dishes which in these portion sizes is not really possible.
