Beautiful location, right on the water's edge. No swimming pool, but who needs one with the gorgeous clean waters of the Adriatic literally on your doorstep! Ivo (the owner) and his parents are always really helpful, and soo friendly. Ivo speaks good English, and other languages as well. We had the top floor double room with a balcony. The room was immaculately clean (as was the whole villa) and quite spacious for two people - and the view from the balcony was stunning!! Ivo will provide breakfast and dinner on request, or there are 3 or 4 restaurants within easy walking distance. A 30 minute stroll around the beautiful bay brings you to another gorgeous part of Zaton where there are another 4 restaurants. We would not hesitate to return to Zaton, and to Villa Kukuljica..

I have been here multiple times with my husband bringing guesta from Turkey to see Dubrovnik. We always stay here and eveyone who ever been in Vila Kukuljica tried to figure out a way to come back here again. Even the pickiest people never had a single complaint about this place. The hosts are very friendly and welcome every guest. The rooms are always very clean and spacious in both, Kukuljica 1 i 2. The surrounding area is very beautiful as well. It is not too close ti the city center or the old city but the bus station is very close to the guest house and if you are visiting with a car then it is really not a problem at all.

Nice and peaceful with a beautiful sea and montain view. Clean sea water which you can swim with small fishes. Friendly service by the owner family. Our room was clean. Around 1 km away from the nearest supermarket and restaurant. Check the time table for the bus no.12 in order to travel to Dubrovnik city center if you travel without a car.

We had found this little place via Eurorest so we’re not sure what to expect. We did not stay in the main guest house but instead were shown to a funny little apartment at the end of the vegetable garden at their second villa. This was a real delight, tucked away surrounded by lime and mandarin trees and vines with our own secluded little patio. No view of the bay and was quite basic, no Tv and we set up our own WiFi but had a good self catering kitchen and decent bathroom and shower - and if you don’t mind two mismatching beds squashed together and very small ‘cheese grater ‘ towels (take your own!) then you will love it ! Such a short walk to the waterfront through lovely gardens and able to swim easily outside the main guest house where we had delicious breakfasts and evening meal. The food was plentiful and from Ivo, the very welcoming owner’s, vegetable garden and fresh fish so everything was really fresh. The wine, made by Ivo’s father Antun in his own vineyard (GRK) was absolutely fantastic and so cheap. Unique, relaxing, peaceful place, Zaton is really laid back and unspoilt. Such a beautiful location was breathtaking. Go on Ivo’s friend Marco’s boat trip to three islands. It was a great day out with a barbecue and all sorts of strange alcohol and of course, wine. And Dubrovnik is such a delight - 15 mins by local bus. The main guest house is very clean and quaint and you will love the views and right on the waterfront. One the best holidays we have ever had for the fraction of the price we would normally pay in...

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The rooms are simple and clean, comfortable for a family of four. The couple who run the villa are incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful, tranquil view from the room and the breakfast area. The villa is directly on the water, which is a concrete dock with a few steps down to pebble bottom. You can swim in the bay in front of the villa. There is a bigger pebble beach a couple hundred meters to the left. There are restaurants to walk to in both directions for lunch and dinner. Kayak, SUP, and boat rentals within a 10 minute walk. And you can walk all the way around the bay on a path to see the islands off shore. It was truly a vacation and I...
