We chose the hotel based on the views and the pics online, and were not disappointed! ||The hotel is located roughly 30mins away by car in Biograd Na Moru from Zadar airport. A taxi will cost you 45-50 euro’s roughly. You can go by bus, which you have to book beforehand or whilst there. Airport bus transfer to zadar center will take 25mins and will cost 5 euros-ish. Then you have to get another bus from zadar center to Biograd bus stop, which takes 30mins and will cost around 5 euro’s too. They take payment in cash only and in their local currency, Kuna’s, so take plenty money as we tried using our cards but were not able to. Check bus times as they are different weekends and they change the times sometimes for weekdays 🙈||The hotel itself, amazing! We were given a free room upgrade to a massive twin room with a large bathroom and balcony. The reception staff are amazing, I forgot to take their names but both women were friendly, great English, and helpful when it came to advice on what to do, where to go, etc. The restaurant staff were fantastic as were the cleaning staff. The views from the hotel and nearby were amazing, we walked to the nearby beach, went to the islands using the ferry, which cost 2 euros each, they accept card payments thankfully! The food was plentiful and both myself and my friend were vegetarians so had enough to eat. I’ve put pics of the food. Would’ve liked some more variety but I guess at quiet season times they have to be economical. The juices and hot drinks from the machines during breakfast were great, and there were good options for meat eaters and vegetarians. We used the indoor pool and the heated jacuzzi, both downstairs, and also the gym. All were fantastic, clean and a bonus to have use of. Didn’t use the sauna, but that costs 300 Kuna for 3hrs I think.||Overall, very happy with the hotel and the area, easy to get to places, and would highly recommend the hotel to everyone! Thank you again to the staff at the hotel and to the country itself, friendly and a relaxing...
Read moreStayed in the hotel for 4 nights and must say that it was pleasant enough. The hotel is on the edge of town, about a 15 minute walk to the main restaurant and bar area.||||As to the hotel itself, I would like to add my comments on the positives and negatives:||||+ Tranquil setting, with a perfect sunset view over the bay.||+ Modern hotel, with a warm feeling to it.||+ Public areas are well maintained.||+ Cleaning staff are a merit to this hotel, keeping every part of the hotel spotless.||+ Staff in all areas are friendly and helpful.||+ Room is spacious, as is the bathroom, with good accessories. Warm feeling in the room.||+ Sleep quality was great, and the bed and pillow choice was a joy.||||+/- Breakfast was just reasonable.||+/- Internet was free, but during my stay, it was rather slow… so disappointing||||And then I was let down by a few points:||- Fitness center – yes, there is one… but you are a GUEST in the hotel, and still have to pay extra to use it??? Strange to say the least.||- Although the bathroom was a decent size, and good amenities, what let me down tremendously was the fact that the water temperature was not stable. Just when you get the temperature right, hoping for a relaxing show, you get blasted with hot water… followed by a blast of cold water. So inconsistent… which in this 21st century is difficult to understand.||- I forked out a few EURO extra to have a “view over the marina”. Nope… not what I got. You could only see the marina from the balcony, if you really made an effort of stretching yourself – then you could have a partial view between buildings.||- Not much is happening around the hotel, so you will need to walk a bit to find something to eat or drink. ||- Lastly, I did try the hotel restaurant, which was below par – though prices...

We selected a balcony with sea view and were not disappointed. The bathroom is a very individual design, the entire room walls are made of glass with curtains on the outside for privacy.|They are equipped with mini fridge that is always stocked, pen and paper, tv, all toiletries are re stocked every day and towels washed when needed. Maid service is prompt and good.||The food was good. Not amazing but something fresh every night and a good selection to choose from. Breakfast always enjoyable with a huge selection and the best meal of the day. Snacks available (burgers etc) throughout the day are fresh and tasty. ||Beautiful location on the harbour where you can watch a sunset every night over the islands and the sea. Beach (pebble beach) just a few minutes down the road one way and town just a few minutes the other.||Swimming pool was a bit cold but the jets were fun. There is a gym and saunas, steam room etc if you pay for it. There is a great lot of space in the wellness spa area and it is very nice. Jacuzzi is beautiful up on the sun deck with chairs and an accessible bar for refreshments. (It’s up on floor 3/4)||Hotel was attractive and modern overall and always clean with staff always friendly and eager to help. Definitely a great choice that I would recommend. 30 mins from Zadar, 1.45 hours from Plitvice, 1.2 hours from Trogir and 1.4 hours from Split. Right next to the Krka National Park...
