If there is a minus star, I would assign it! Everything in this hotel is falling apart, both facilities as well as staff. Sometimes, employees act like they are mentally challenged people. Some resigned just out of the blue during our stay as personnel management is obviously very bad. Emails to management not responded or responded too late. Email dated 21 May was responded on 11 June!!! Hotel is placed in lovely but not maintained forrest, and it is normal to see wild pigs around in the evening. Not a pleasant encounter, knowing that those animals could be dangerous and damage vehicles. And people! Night receptionist is rude and weird, very unpleasant. Needs finetunning of his communication skills. To start with the room - it is like a poorly maintained hostel - cheap stuff, dirty flooring, aircon could not be set properly, TV did not work, bathroom is flodding and all parts are falling apart. Once you close the bathroom door - good luck with opening as they get stuck. The only way to close the bathroom door and not get stuck is to hold it with towel hanger that is anyhow broken (see photo) Room maintenance would not check up balconies, so used glasses and plates would remain there for couple of days. Elevator buttons does not work properly. Swimming pool not in function (and the charge you for a 4-star hotel with two swimming pools!) Food is tasteless; an old, scratched pot with frankfurters in hot water was among breakfast items!!! Wonder if sanitary i spection ever come in there. If you are a minute late, there is no juice from dispenser - apparently programmed that way. We were a group od 50 people that came for a wedding. A welcomming party was organized for guests. Management was definitely uncapable to organize it - so the guests of the wedding couple were helping set the tables, move things around, etc Hotel staff was simply lost. The only real waitor there was a guy called Antoni, the rest are lost cases. Last but not least, once we were leaving, receptionist was requesting guests to pay different price than agreed. One couple was asked to pay 700 E instead 240 E. After an argument, explanation was that they charged 6 months old baby as an adult. Still does not make calculation right, but ok. Then, two persons sharing room were charged differently - one was asked 68 E, another 90 E. Madness. If this is tourism, good luck! It is rare to see such a substandard service. I would definitely not come again, nor would I recommend my friends to come.

Don't get fooled by the Google image of the white tall hotel with long stairs leading to it and beautiful sea wiews. Depandanse Omorika is this doomy and gloomy looking complex of 3 pavilions - A, B, C with dark and crumbling window shutters and no wiew whatsoever. I think we've got lucky staying in pavilion B which was refurbished with new furniture and updated bathroom. Not very clean with leftover rubbish from previous occupants left in the draws, behind bed and under the dressing table. Working air conditioning was a life saver. Avoid Pavilion C as it was a real throwback. Worst thing about our stay was the food. Carelesly prepared, either dried up or unidentifiable slopps with shamelessly 'recycled' leftovers from previous meals - not safe in this hot weather. My children ended up with the trotts on several occasions. Cheapest ingredients for breakfast, coco pops, plastic cups, orange squash, filthy water dispenser and coffee machines. No vegetarian option of course. Ended up eating elsewhere. Don't recommend.

3 stars. Why? Well dont get me wrong, it is definitely a very nice hotel with most of the staff very polite and cheerful, the food was good (just good ) although breakfast was the same during my 5 days there, however dinner was very diversify with free ice cream (yeap you heard that right). The things i faced which was buggy me so much was; a lot of dust in some places (like on doors and on the tv in pictures) also there were some places that didn't look very clean and that was bothering my wife a lot. Last but not least we found an open wall socket plug (yeah and my kid was playing next to it so you can only imagine my frustration). I believe that for a 4 stars hotel that is not acceptable hence my rate of 3 stars.

Let's start with the positives, which are only a few, though.||The room is pretty nice. You don't even need a beachfront room to have a beautiful view out of your window. Even the side rooms provide panoramic views of the sloping hillside and of course the beautiful sea. What is also good, is that the balconies are separated from each other (so you don't really interact with the neighbors) and there's a sun blind to shield off the sun from the room. Inside the room, there's probably just about enough space, although it could be slightly bigger. The transformer bed is super, though - with the extendable parts ideal for small children. Food selection in the restaurant (at least for breakfast and dinner) was pretty Ok, even with some local dishes. However, there're some big problems with the service - please consider these as 'negatives' below:||Parking - obviously too small for the amount of visitors coming by cars. Judging by the other comments and reviews, management are clearly aware of the problem, but appears not to care about it, leaving the problem to the visitors to deal themselves. Looking for a parking space nearby is also a headache, because it's all apartments around, and of course there're visitors, too. It all results in the fact, that once a spot is found, people tend to keep the car there during their whole stay - instead of driving around the beautiful countryside.||Dinner - every evening, there's a huge line winding down the staircase to the restaurant. With the dinner starting at 7, people start to line up as early as 6:30, and the queue remains there during almost the whole time... Also the buffet has no separations or sections' divisions, so once you come for food you don't really know in what part of the (huge) line you should sneak in for the food that you like to take. Again, it's obvious that the management acknowledges the problem, but doesn't do anything to solve it - we were literally told "you don't need to start at the beginning, just squeeze in between the people". But it's impolite and against our personal values. In our opinion, it could be improved by starting dinner at least from 6 pm - to stretch the flow of guests and let the early birds leave first. Otherwise, it's a nightmare experience, so we don't recommend booking half board in this hotel. And there's no coffee machine there - not at all! Just pots with black coffee and milk - first time we see such thing in a 4-star hotel. Not for the restaurant, but about the bar: we were quite shocked when the barmen used tap water for a cocktail that we ordered...||Staff - We found some of them quite unfriendly, however there were some nice and smiling people, too.||Lifts - only 2 working lifts for a tall building with many visitors, which results in chaos during the peak times.||Swimming pool - very small, only fits children, but not suitable for adults. Also not nice that people are allowed to smoke there - especially if you consider it's mainly children there who have to breath it in.||Besides, it looks overpriced. Either we booked too late (although we did it a few months in advance) or what, but a night there costs almost the same as a night in a good beach hotel in UAE with AI... And you definitely can't compare the...
