This was the best hotel of our entire trip through Split and Rome. We were given a warm greeting and informed that we had received a free upgrade! We were able to have a fantastic dinner at their restaurant. There was a wide variety of food selections all at reasonable prices. The food was excellent, and our attentive, very professional, and friendly waiter gave us an excellent wine pairing recommendation. We were then able to bring a bottle of wine which our waiter corked and decanted to our room where we enjoyed it and the sunset over the water on the balcony to the sound of relaxing live music. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were particularly impressed with the large walk-in shower. The breakfast was also lovely with a wide selection of fruits, meats, cereals, coffee, and other breakfast choices. Cooked eggs were available upon request for no additional charge.
