Stayed here for hideout festival and a few days before, I was in a 6 bed room separate to my friends, no one else was in the room for a couple days when I arrived I left my trackies, skirt and makeup wipes on my bed with scrunched up so that any new people checking into my room knew that was my bed, I came back in the evening to find all my stuff gone the bed remade and a couple new people asleep in the room, they woke up and said nothing had been on the bed since they arrived I went to reception and said politely I understand my stuff was white and looked like bedding and towels and it could’ve mistakenly been picked up for washing just wanted them to check the wash and return it to me, woman on reception told me the girls in the room probably stole it I said no one has stolen it the girls wouldn’t have taken them remade the bed and folded everything to steal clothes that weren’t their size, the cleaner begrudgingly checked the washing then said they weren’t there and shoved her hand in my face and told me to shut up when I said they must be as no one else has access to that room. I was completely calm until this point and understandably extremely angry when told to shut up when politely asking for my belongings back. I ended up writing off the clothes they clearly wouldn’t give back and swapped rooms to my friends. Also took a ridiculous amount of money off each of us at reception on arrival and they hire private security during hideout to fine people for things they don’t ever warn you about on arrival eg loud music after 11, random entry to room and fines for ‘mess’ anything they can it’s a joke. Other than this met amazing friends here was lively and fun but some staff were rude and ruined the...
