Perla Inn — Hotel in Grad Osijek

I really can't in good conscience recommend this place.

I asked for early check-in around 12, she said ok... But when I arrived at 12:30, she said the rooms were being cleaned and told me to come back in 30 mins....despite there being couches inside that were available...she could have checked me in and allowed me to wait there...but instead I had to wait in the park across the road.

It was the most uncomfortable bed I've slept in, an old thrashed out spring mattress from the 70s that left me sleepless and sore despite using the second beds blanket to try cushion the springs from poking me in the back. They advertise the rooms as "soundproofed" which they are 100% not soundproof, and you can hear every word, cough and fart of your neighbours, and from outside.

In fact, I believe the whole place is misrepresented\falsely advertised

Cigarette smoke smell seems to be everywhere, which just made it feel dirty.

The worst is the shared bathrooms... The showers have not been cleaned properly in months...if ever.... You can literally see the layers of grime making the tiles a completely different colour than outside the cubicle...and the glass has caked on grime. The cubicle is gross, rusty, calcium caked and god knows what else.... I did not feel clean using these facilities at all. The sink in the top floor bathroom has drainage problems, and "screams" when you turn the tap, which is loud, high pitched and can be heard in the rooms. Just a lovely way to be woken up! There is no handwash in the bathrooms either.....gross!

The wifi is extremely poor signal and drops out often.

Location is close to the bus, as is why I chose it.... But for the low quality here, the price needs to be lower. Definitely not value for money sadly. Maybe if they updated the beds from old 70s to something you can sleep on, and actually cleaned the place properly the price would be ok....but certainly not now as it is.

The rate was pretty good, which was about the most redeeming factor about this facility. Beds aren't terribly comfortable. As the other reviewer mentioned, most of the lights in the room don't work. The shower was a disaster. After a single shower the hot water was gone. Even if there was hot water, though, the knob to make the shower head turn on was broken. The towels and sheets were stained and really worn. A few thousand kunas worth of investment into very, very basic things could turn this into a decent place. Would recommend for solo travel and/or single night stays, but I can't in good conscience recommend it for...

MA KOLIKO GOD MI BRISALI RECENZIJE JA ĆU PISATI OPET I OPET!!Čista 0 radije odite spavati pod drvetom ili u auto žena nam je uzela 50 eura za nas troje došli smo u 12 sati na naše pitanje hoče li nas prijavit rekla je da joj se ,,NEDA,, i da je to ,,PROCEDURA,, odvela nas je u sobu broj 5 u kojoj ima 1 soba s bračnim krevetom i prolaz do druge sobe s jednim krevetom bez vrata i toalet koji je uzasan pun kamenca i prljavštine. Krenili smo se raspremat i nakon 2 smjeha dolazi žena i ljutito kuca na vrata i dere se na nas da ona hoče tišinu i da tu ima studente kojima treba mir (8.7.2023). Nisam joj ja kriva što je zidove pregrađivala knaufom a ne betonskim zidom ili ciglom. Nakon toga otisli smo prosetat upalili smo klimu da nam se rashladi kad se vratimo i ostao je upaljen televizor. Nakon 15 minuta zove nas žena na telefon i govori kako je ona ulazila u apartman i ugasila televizor( i klimu naravno samo to nije rekla). AKO NEKOM VEĆ IZNAJMLJUJETE PROSTOR VI NEMATE PRAVO ULAZITI I DIKTIRATI HOĆE LI ILI NE TEVIZOR BITI UPALJEN JER SMO MI POŠTENO PLATILI A NIGDJE ŠTETU NISMO NAPRAVILI. Kad smo se vratili u apartman stvari su nam bile drugačije posložene i televizor iskopčan iz zida(postoji daljinski za ugasit nemorate ga gasit iz utičnice). Tuš je pun kamenca,oko kade sve crno, od posteljine nas je sve češalo jednom rječju odvratno. Bube šetaju po plafonu. Njena 2 psa zavijaju od 2 ujutro. Nemam rječi a ako imalo imate mozga nećete dovoditi malu djecu u ovaj objekt.Imate samo jedno parkirno mjesto koje se nenaplaćuje. NADAM SE DA ĆE TURISTIČKA ZAJEDNICA OSJEK OBIĆI OVAKVO MJESTO I PODUZETI NEKE SANKCIJE. PO MOGUČNOSTI PROVJERITI HIGIJENU I OBJEKAT DALI JE RAĐEN PO PROJEKTU JER OVO JE OPĆA KATASTROFA NEDAJ...
