Guest House Aurora — Hotel in Grad Rovinj

I will fail in this review to describe staying at this hotel because I cannot say enough. Just wow. Starting small, the rooms were cozy with balconies that look over the city and some of the old town with the mediterranean sea as a backdrop. Nice kitchen in the apartment with some basic cooking needs and a glass top stove. What made the experience unique and very special was the hospitality of the owner Zoran who greeted us like family and immediately sat us down and offered drinks. He and his wife made the 4 night stop unique with their kindness and thoughtfulness. They even bought a gift for my 2 year old nephew. At the end of the stay we bought Zoran a case of his favorite beer and we were not allowed out of the apartment before we had tried his wife's delicious home made cookies. Wir haben das kleine Appartement über Ostern gemietet. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, sprechen auch etwas Deutsch und Französisch. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, sauber und viele Tücher stehen zur Verfügung. Bad mit Waschmaschine und Küche mit Geschirrspüler. Falls man kochen möchte; ein Schäler und gut schneidendes Messer fehlt ;) Die Morgen und Abendsonne kann man auf den zwei kleinen Balkonen/Terrassen mit je einem Tisch sehr geniessen. Parkplatz gleich vor dem Haus. Appartement ist ruhig gelegen und ganz nah von der Altstadt Rovinjs; zum laufen 5-10min...
