This hotel is ideally situated in the center of the most beautiful bay which is Baska Voda (pronounced Bashka Voda). A good number of the rooms overlook the sea, many with balconies. The hotel also provide an indoor swimming pool and sauna in the basement. But with the most inviting option being the sea, 75 meters away, we found no need of this facility. Without exception all the staff were very polite, courteous and helpful||During our two week stay in a very comfortable room (with balcony) on the second floor the hotel appeared to cater mainly for walking groups, we saw both English and German groups, who appeared to be staying for 1 week on half board basis. The hotel did not provide a lunchtime service, which in all respects was not necessary due to the large number of sea front restaurants, bars, and ice cream parlours all of which were of a very high standard and suitably appointed. Due to groups pre- selecting their evening meals at the beginning of the day the hotels menu was somewhat limited for other guests. This may in part be due to the quantity and quality of the local competition. Breakfast was adequate with the usual Mediterranean fayre.|| ||One other aspect of the hotel was its bar which was situated on the ground floor at the back of the building. The bar was decorated in dark brown paneling making it feel somewhat drab and dreary. Hence we chose our balcony for pre dinner drinks whilst watching the sun disappear over the horizon. ||||You will obviously notice that, in spite of its many positive attributes and our enjoying our stay, I have only scored the hotel, which is stated to be 4*, as average. This is due merely that it could do with a bit of a makeover and dragging itself into the...

Read moreThis was our third stay at the hotel. The first time in 2019 was excellent – clean, fresh-smelling room with windows facing the street and tennis courts.||During our second stay in 2022, we were given a room on the opposite side of the building and had problems with unpleasant smells of burnt oil coming into the room.||This year, we were again placed on the same side. Knowing the issue, we asked the hotel staff to change the room, but unfortunately, our request was not granted.||Another big disappointment was the unexpected parking fee. The TUI offer clearly stated a free parking space and mentioned a fee only for the garage (approx. €7/day). To our surprise, upon checkout we were charged €90 for parking outside the hotel building. We had to prove that our reservation made through TUI said nothing about any extra fee for outdoor parking. Staff claimed the fee was introduced recently.||⚠️ I advise future guests to double-check all offer details before booking.|The holiday itself was great, but the final day and the checkout left a bitter taste due to what felt like an attempt to charge...
