Arrived here on Wednesday 20th September as part of package deal by Newmarket Holidays. Stayed for three nights. 3 separate family run hotels all located within yards of each other. Our room was very clean but basic. NO USB points for charging your devices. No English tv channels. Safe was locked and had to get ? Owner/manager to open with his key. Then we could not open and he was not very helpful at all. Towels were so thin and rough, drying yourself was like a penance. Great air conditioning. No milk supplied with kettle, tea, coffee. Apparently, only us English drink milk with our tea BUT they cater for Newmarket holidays on a regular basis so should cater for us English! However, I did get some fresh milk from the dining room and, another bonus, was a fridge in room. No one serviced our room until we complained and the beds were made, bathroom cleaned the last day. Some of the group did not have their rooms serviced at all. Luckily, we were on third floor but that was as far as the lift went. If you were on fourth, you had to drag your suitcases up a flight of stairs, bearing in mind, the majority of our party were elderly. The real down side was the food. We were on half board. The dining room reminded me of a school canteen. Breakfast had a large variety but the fried eggs were laid out with no heat and they were cold and like rubber. The scrambled egg was not much better. There was one toaster, just did two slices, for everybody. Always a queue. You had to order your dinner the night before with only three options. The food was not of the standard we are used to. I had hake one evening and there would have been more fish in a fish finger. Every night the sweet was what appeared to be a slice of cake. Wine and beer was very reasonably priced. No lounge or entertainment at hotel but some bars a short walk away. I would not give this hotel 4⭐️s only 3 but, with a bit more thought and effort,...
Read moreA nice small quiet hotel with really helpful staff. Its located in a small coastal village in south Dalmatia (population +/- 500).||Possibly because we were in a group tour before high season, our party was split over two locations either side of the road. The Hotel Ivando (with restaurant) and Krasna. We were located in the Krasna in a really nice third floor three bed room with a view of the seafront. The room had tea making facilities (but alas, no coffee) and had the usual Shower, TV, WiFi, refrigerator and Aircon. The beds were really comfortable and the shutters kept out the light really well. The view from the balcony was great.||Located about a 100m from the shoreline and 5 minutes from the main village and small supermarket.||Our food was taken in the adjacent Ivando where the staff were excellent and very hospitable. Food was buffet style with drinks in the evening served from a bar area. There was terrace seating as well.||Served as a great base during out three night stay. Can’t emphasise enough the friendly and helpful staff in the hotel, eating area and kitchin. There was a car parking area...
Read moreWe stayed at this lovely hotel for three nights as part of a tour of Croatia organised through Newmarket Holidays.||Check in was smooth and we were in our rooms within 5 minutes of arrival. The room ( and all other areas of the hotel) was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented..It had a spacious bedroom and shower room as well as a small balcony with a table and two chairs.||We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel each day . All meals were served as a well presented buffet and there was plenty of choice Dishes were replenished frequently and were always hot ( when appropriate) and tasty.. Drinks from the bar were very reasonably priced.||The hotel is in a lovely setting just a short stroll from the beach which at the time of visiting ( mid May) was very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is family run and all staff did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay - and we...
